MEMBERS of Tony Pulis' first team squad will be on hand to officially open the newly refurbished Britannia Stadium Superstore this afternoon… after its doors opened on Friday morning following the completion of a stunning transformation.

The refurbishment of the Superstore has not only increased the floor space by 30%, it has also created a crisp, modern appearance enhanced by the improved lighting.

A number of new features will improve the quality and speed of service including the doubling of the number of till points, the installation of a 'call-up' queuing system seen in many other retail outlets and the creation of a new exit to ease congestion in the Store.

"The transformation of the Superstore and Ticket Office puts us up there with other Premier League clubs in terms of these facilities," said Richard Smith, Managing Director of Stoke City Property Ltd. "We are confident therefore that this will enhance the customer experience.

"The biggest outlay has been the £400,000 spent on the Superstore and we have engaged the services of a design company who have worked with Chelsea and have also been responsible for the creation of flagship stores for the leading sportswear company ASICS.

"Supporters will notice the biggest difference in the Superstore, but we also wanted the Ticket Office to mirror the changes we were making in a number of ways."

The Potters first team stars and Club mascot Pottermus will be in attendance from 3pm this afternoon as the Superstore opens for business when supporters will find it a whole new shopping experience in the new surroundings.

The Club has invested more than £1million in a facelift of the administration building which also includes a transformation of the ticket office and players dressing room area. These improvements have upgraded facilities for players, the manager and his backroom team, administration staff and supporters.
