https://trainingground.guru/articles/james-young-the-role-of-data-in-sunderlands-brave-new-world Pretty mind blowing stuff...
Excellent stuff, just seen it in Twitter. Big changes indeed and it's great to get an insight into it all.
Really good read. Guess to show how the club is bring dragged into the 21st century at last. I do wonder with the data, how it works with players at clubs who don't use it. As in, how do clubs collect data for scouting purposes?
I am so happy that the new owners are doing this. This really is the way forward and its really exciting to hear that the rebuild is still only in its early stages.
A good read, thanks for sharing. its interesting that its only the tip of a very big iceberg by the sounds of it with it only being in "phase 0.5" but the fact that we seem to see the difference already is mind blowing to what the club could actually achieve
Cracking read that. Genuinely think that the groundwork is being put in place that will bring us success (whatever that means) for years to come
basically backs up what a lot of people have been trying to drum into others...the club is starting from the ground up and a LOT of work has been going on and will continue even though we, as fans, see very little of it we will start to see it on the pitch. also that this is no overnight 'throw some cash at it' type fix, it is a long term process and as with any other long term project you need to get the start right before you can move forward...we all need to be patient here but i think we are already seeing improvements and i believe we will see many more.
Excellent read that. Thanks for posting it. Very illuminating and encouraging for the future of the club.
thanks for that mate another gem you have found, everyone has already covered any points i wanted to raise, so keep up the good work lads
