When we got PVA from Chelsea he was in a similar sort of position as the new lad. He has come on leaps and bounds and is now one of our top players. If the new lad can make progress like PVA then we could have a real gem. Some players fit into some teams but not others. Take our player Mohammed Ali. He really didn't do much at all with us yet was one of Hull's best performers. We've had Giacc, and you can probably add Lens, who are top players, yet haven't really done the business with us. M'Vila was a flop at RK yet fantastic for us. So, fingers crossed, we could have another PVA come to join us.

Don't remember Mohammad Ali playing for us. Thought he did his best work in Zaire and the Philippines.
I do like a central player comfortable with either foot. When he plays at CB it will be useful. There won't be many people winning headers against him either.
I'm looking forward to seeing him play. There is a 4 min youtube video previewing Djilobodji on the Roker report that looks pretty good. From all that I can gather, he looks to have Verane's athleticism and Pepe's disposition.
At least now he knows where the line is and shouldn't cross it again. I bet he still has the same thoughts though.
Looks like a good insurance policy in case we have another one of those seasons Be interesting to see how well he fits in.
