How long do you think it will be before they make the step up?

    Cup games next season?

Will they ever be Premier League quality?

What do they need to improve in order to make it?

Just a few questions to ponder about Norwich's brightest prospects. Feel free to mention other players as well :)

If we get a cup game against a league 1 team I'd be really disappointed if they weren't involved. Equally though, I could see several of them going out on loan to league 1. I'd like one club to take both Murphy's, they've already got a near-telepathic understanding at times, and working on that would be great. In fact, just send our front 3 of Murphy-Morris-Murphy to Colchester, we owe them one!

Good point about them both going to the same club DH.
Remember when Southampton signed the Wallace brothers?
Together they were great. On their own, not quite so good.

Firstly I think their both brilliant players I would definitely try them out in cup games. They do need to work on not over complicating what they do, don't get me wrong their entertaining but you cannot beat everyone, also they need to work on not taking too many touches and having a crack at times. I'm confident these two lads will have a bright future.

Bit off breaking in the first team. Youth football you often have that split second longer with the ball. You could see against a decent side sometimes they took a bit too long on the ball. Also decision making needs to be better. Saying that it all comes with experience and playing with better players. They are certainly great prospects. Good with the ball at their feet, direct and work hard. Be good for them to get a cup game or two/ go on loan preferably together.

Murphys should probably have a couple of 3 month loans each - one together and one apart. Let them develop away but keep coming back to base.
Mainly, they need to work on their reading of the game - when to pass instead of take a player on - or learn to do a 180 like Messi!
2 or 3 of years off of our first team still, but should be knocking on the door of cup games by the middle of next season.

Carlton Morris needs more time with us, but a short loan in the BBP could do him some good! Toffolo and McGeehan similar. Let's not forget we have Jamar Loza who needs games too!

I think being loaned out would do a lot of them a world of good, problem is finding someone who will take them and give them a go as I think it would take them a while to get used to being roughed up a bit more in the lower leagues compared to the youth game.

Youth players loaned out tend to be from the top clubs who have more contacts, hopefully hughton can get someone to take a punt on a few of them

I'd say risk them on cup games against league 2 or BSP teams.

In some ways it'd be a shame if Brentford get promoted. They've been really impressed with Adeyemi, so if we can offer then other youth players they'd perhaps be more open to taking them. Even if whoever it was was just training with the seniors and maybe making the bench, it'd be good experience in League 1.

They love adeyemi there, but to be fair i've been to 5 brentford games this year as well as one of my best mates being a season ticket holder and follows them around the country and he has developed so much this season. Even I've noticed it, he's gone from versatile dependable utility player to dominating central midfielder with an unbelievable engine. My friend showed me a video from the pitch invasion after the play off semi and there was a couple of hundred brentford fans singing "Tom adeyemi we want you to stay". It just shows how much a season can do to a player, I'd go as far as saying he is one of the best midfielders in league 1 now.

Really hope we can get some players out there next year I think a full year for Jed steer at a league 1 team could be the most important. Not sure how much under 21 games is going to do for him now having had experience of FA cup games last year and really impressing.

Hmm, if Adeyemi's the best midfielder in league 1 then let's not let him go on a permanent and just loan him out again. Might yet have potential as a squad player. Completely agree about Steer, although whether it's 6 months for him and 6 months for Rudd remains to be seen.

It'd be a shame to see Adeyemi go but not sure he is perm class, if we'd been relegated i'd have seen a real space for him in the squad after his performances in the last few months.

Think it'll probably be the end for korey smith as well, can't see him just wanting to be loaned out now and then followed by training back at norwich. Sad to see the players who were involved in league 1 not become major parts of our team in a way.
