    I've read in the papers that Adam Pearson, Director of football operations at Hull City has just parted company with them. This would be the best appointment of the lot if we could get a real football man in to replace the idiot Clegg. Unless Evans wakes up soon we will be in for another season of dull mediocrity. Pearson has got the experience and expertise in running a similar size football club and will be in a far better position to finally get our house in order on and off the pitch. PJ is in the last year of his contract so by christmas depending on where we are in the league a decision will have to be taken as to his future.

    Evans should ditch Clegg now and appoint Pearson! That would be the best bit of transfer news this summer!

    Would be bloody fantastic, don't think Bullard would be too chuffed though, might drive him to drink!

    Seriously, this is where we have to look to change the fortunes of the club. Pearson is just as good as McNally at Norwich. He won't put up with any **** from the players or manager. Knows what it is like to bring a club on its knees to the promised lands, more importantly he did it on a budget!

    <ok>

    Agreed Guru

    If Evans seriously wants our football club to be successful and protect his investment he should be raiding his piggy bank to get Pearson in before he's snapped up by someone else! Knowing our luck that would probably be Leeds!

    I think the location would be an issue as he's tied to Hull rugby league club and Yorkshire even if by some miracle Clegg got his marching orders.

    He could always move to Cambridgeshire <ok>

    Anyhow if Evans made him an offer he couldn't refuse there wouldn't be a problem!
