When are they going to fix the clock at the Fratton End?

I wasn't around at the time but............... can I assume that this clock was installed after the original one was taken by the Cardiff fans in retaliation for our fans chasing them around their own stands in Cardiff? :emoticon-0158-time:

If so, from the conversations on the old 606 many of them have bits of the old clock in their garages. As they are down here next week we could ask them to salvage some parts and return them to us so we can do a repair job.

I presume if we have to purchase a new one, unless we can raise the full asking price, we will have to buy it "on tick"..........

    I'll get my coat.........<whistle><laugh>

It's getting a little annoying to say the least when you've been gazing up at it on the Fratton End roof for pretty much a lifetime to find out the time is still ten to seven!!

Surely some of this £100,000 earmarked for ground improvements is destined to fix our clock.

( Fratton End punters, please disregard this post ) <ok>

I think it just needs a new key to be turned a few times in the mechanism.

How about St Godders - he's good at winding up.

In many ways Godders and the Fratton End clock are alike - always tell the same story and hardly ever right! <laugh>

We just need suggestions as to who we can hang there instead of Harold LLoyd!
