All current politicians talk about the Big Society; helping one another; tolerance; integration; hard work. The list goes on and on. Yet they all have one thing in common... Can you tell me how many times a politician has answered "yes" or "no" to a direct question? Personally I can't remember the last time I heard either of these responses. They avoid it like the plague! What faith can we have in our rulers and legislators when they can't look us in the eye and openly tell the truth? Moreover, they believe that 'not being caught in a lie' is the same as being honest. They'll go to war over a false pretext, but they hold the "real weapons of mass destruction" ie. lies, deceit, innuendo, and false justification through UN resolutions or removal of a wicked leader. And the outcome is always the same... It's Joe Bloggs-the man in the street- who has to go out and lay his life on the line. After Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya, where next? Anyone else detest them as I do? They're dangerous- probably the most dangerous men in the world!
Most dangerous man in the world - Emile Heskey - you could be quite innocently watching the game on a fine Saturday afternoon standing behind the goals say row Z or something and with one killer shot the ball could be ballooned over the bar with such a force you could be wiped out instantly!
Everything that comes out of a politician's mouth is spin. I don't think I have ever come across a politician who just tells it like it is. That's why I could never make it in politics, I always call a spade a spade and I definately to not pull any punches. If I think you are being an idiot I will tell you that
Are you really surprised Politicians who say what they think are condemned or described as gaffe prone (eg Churchill in the 1930s or Enoch Powell) while politicians who say what the voters want to hear get elected (eg Tony Blair) Is it any wonder we end up with MPs that are afraid to go against the party line (on the other hand doing so doesn't always make you right as seen by Galloway's disgusting support for Saddam)
They daren't put their head above the parapet and say what they think because they're scared of losing their gold plated pensions and expenses, greedy self serving bastards.
