Nope, it doesn't feel any better this morning, rubbed in by constant re-runs on SSN. Great expectations cruelly exposed on the day and today we'll be reading all about it in the Sundays. Tomorrow's open training session is gonna be a bundle of laughs...
Chin up Sooper. I actually do feel better this morning. What choice have we got? Let's not right the season off on the basis on one game that might just be a freak result.
I feel much better as there is **** all we can do about the result now Let's all chill on a Sunday as a lot if **** going on in the world at the mo
The key is to not panic. The messageboard spastics of course will, but players don't become crap overnight and there are 111 points to play for. However well we play against City, Chelsea and Spurs we might not get anything from those games and will probably be bottom after five games, but it's really not important.
Well said the measure is how we bounce back and don't be surprised if Wigan don't win today or saints it's that crazy
I'm sure we will bounce back lads, it's just a real bummer on the opening day. If it had been against City or United you can accept it as they'll do that to a lot of teams this year, but the Sheep-worriers were supposed to be lambs to the slaughter so to speak. Saturday will be a test but we came back well last season after a similar start so I'll just have to believe we'll do it again...
I look at it this way,we are not going to win the league, we are not going to win the cup so this season once again is all about survival.Theres not a manager in the premier league that isnt aware that theres a result like ours yesterday just around the corner for every team.If we win more than we lose over the season thats about the best we can hope for.
I was thinking of going but you've actually made me think twice. I do t know if I could hold my temper if you get a few twats there booing etc......
5-0 a freak result.........We came...You saw....we conquered...... all this rubbish we will stuff you 3-0.4-0 and even 6-0 by someone showed no respect at all for any team let alone us......you got what you deserved at the end of the day and we let you off with just 5...it could easily have been more.....Sparky has a lot of work to do at qpr thats for sure.....That was no freak score, that was exposing qpr's poor game plan by sparky...
Some interesting points from you. Agree MH got tactics wrong and gave you too much respect (which you don't deserve). Records are always broken and it's taken you 92 years to do it. Thought Swans as a team were better last season. You played well and we didn't. We will regroup and move on. As for swans, i thought that you were the biggest time wasting muppets i have seen at LR. I still think we will finish higher than you and a pressing team will not let you get away with what you did yesterday. Enjoy your season and hopefully you may keep Sinclair.
The team and Laudrup deserve respect for yesterday's performance, except for the first half time wasting. You, however, don't. Your username is clearly a dig at Cardiff, the club which defines your sides identity, as proven by.......your username. Inferiority complexes have unpleasant consequences.
Hope you stick around fella because the last posters that gave us stick and were wrong, didn't. You had your day yesterday but we will see in a few weeks if your comments are correct or not. I reckon by Oct it will be a different story.
Let this 15 year old kid enjoy his moment. Of course he has every right to be happy after their great start - but that is all it is - A START! 37 games left in this league, and it is a very long season. Those putting other teams down like this muppet will only get bitten on the arse. What goes around comes around - and it sure does.
Forgive my brain cell challenged colleague, but some of your lot have been giving it large before this game, and a few have even said we were poor yesterday. Thankfully they are in a small minority, but you get my drift. As I've said elsewhere I don't buy the suggestion that Hughes can't sort this out. He will. I just see this as a team that clicked on the day against one that didn't. Freak result is about right. Had you equalised to 1-1 it could have been different and plenty on our board have been saying this. The scoreline flattered us for sure but I cannot remember when I've seen us so clinical. I think you'll take Norwich next week. They look really poor and I'm tipping them for the drop.
