If this was the case (as there's been rumours of Essien leaving for a few months now), would this not respark Chelski's interest in Tiote? Really don't want a Summer of Tiote-Chelsea rumours, just get the impression that that'll be the paper's take on things. :(

I'd be amazed if Chelseas were willing to let Essien to to Spurs. I'd be even more amazed if Essien said yes to a Spurs move. If Chelsea are willing to let him go then pretty much any CL club would take him. They'll end up signing Modric for about £27m I reckon.

If Chelsea come sniffing fat mike may consider selling him...
If this happens as long as we get 50m I'll not do a Michael Douglas from Falling Down...

I can see them cashing in on Essien soon, his forms been terrible and he's too injury prone. Doesn't look a shadow of the player he used to be! But i can't see him going to Tottenham and hopefully we'll be keeping Tiote!

Tiote said in January that he does't like London and won't move to Chelsea.

The City itself is fine, it's just the teams and the fans that spoil it.

    Fulham aren't too bad though.

Fulham is a bloody freezing place to go for a winter fixture. I do like their 'neutral stand' that inevitably turns into an extended away end tho.
