Just thought you should know that our Carling Cup conquerers Rochdale have been knocked out by Aldershot, thus saving us the trouble and embarrassment.
Doubtless they felt like Neil that the cup was an inconvenience .....

Rochdale, Aldershot, who knows how easy a draw we might have had?? Bad move. Still, time to move on.

Last season proved how pointless this trophy was to us in the long run.

    Quite franckly, I couldn't give a damn.

When we lost to Rochdale the takeover was still in the balance and, no doubt, Warnock didn't want the distraction with the squad as it was then. Maybe next season we'll take it seriously with a proper established PL squad. Warnock has already stated he'll be having a go in FA Cup this season, knowing our luck we'll get ManUre at Old Trafford...

Opportunity wasted thanks to the goons. Should've been a comp for our second XI, the likes of Murphy, Orr, Connolly, Hall, Hill, Puncheon, Buzz, Smith, HH etc. giving their all would've accounted for rochdale and aldershot. Such a shame. There is the FA cup....

This is one thing we can't blame on the Goons. It was the manager. But as Watford said, time to move on.

Im glad we are out of that crap cup! We havent got the squad yet guys. Neil said we will give the FA cup a go which is fair. Surely we cant get knocked out int the 3rd round for the 11th year in a row! The league is most important this year and next year we can win both cups ;)

We should do a Birmingham. Get promoted to the Premiership, have a season to get settled in, then win the cup ... and get relegated!

Nothing in our recent cup history suggests that even resting our players on the Saturday before the cup would yield more than a wimper of a cup exit to a dreadful opposition.
