Match Day Thread The Match Day Thread Poll

Obviously this has got a bit out of hand so I have set up a poll for the best Match Day Thread so that we can choose which one to post on on Saturday. As I watch on my phone I have to interrupt the game to read the thread(s) so need to be able to concentrate on one and know you will all be there.

Anyway do you prefer:
Cronemeister - solid and reliable (how Lascelles used to be)
Judge Death - new to this and frankly not getting much in the way of response at the moment
Captainchaos - supposedly the official matchday thread but he hasn't actually posted anything about the game yet. Can he be trusted to do a proper matchday thread and accept the blame if we lose?
Match Day 4 - another newcomer and frankly I find this disturbingly sexist as it seems to be taking the piss out of a woman's view of football whereas we know from her normal postings that she is even more knowledgeable than Chippy when it comes to football and Newcastle United.

Vote now so that we can restore a semblance of sanity to our Match Day experience

 

I had to vote for Cronemeister on the never break a winning run rule.

However as we won with two match day threads last week I have expanded the voting to two choices and the two top ones will be left with the the official banner while the two losers will be changed to just before the game kicks off.

I added Chaos as my 2nd vote as he actually asked and call me old fashioned but I like people with good manners.

 

All of them are equal. More is less.

 

I'm pulling out of this brexit like shambles.

 

I'm going to set up poll to see if we really need to have a poll set up about match day threads.

I was tempted to vote for Chaos too but then I saw that I was losing, and Simon Cowell always votes for his act on X-Factor so I thought why would you NOT vote for your own...Soz Chaos, you did ask very nicely but as I pointed out, you couldn't even be arsed to prefix it with the right Match Day Thread label, it's a schoolboy error.

People who only use one of their votes by voting for themselves will be penalised. No problem with you voting for yourself but its the season of goodwill so pick someone else as well. (Judge Death looks a good bet for a wasted vote at the moment!)

Seriously....you can't change the rules all willy nilly !! Where does it say that in the OP?

 

It says it in the second post down - see for me if I am going to choose two people with the responsibility of managing the match day threads I expect them to read all the posts in full.

That's because it's not a matchday thread, simply one about matchday threads - haven't actually done my matchday thread - yet.....

 

I think this is an insult to those posters who sweated blood and tears in the preparation of their insightful and deeply researched MD threads. If there was a Mod on here with their salt then they would reprimand the OP for his thoughtless and crass thread asking other posters to judge those posters who spent their precious time probably to the neglect of their families during the stressful time prior to Christmas.

It would actually be good if we could at least get one who could type "worth" instead of "with" as it makes the sentence a bit nonsensical.

And as the games are coming faster than Chaos with a porn mag the next matchday thread should be done by the person with the next most amount of votes and so on

At least we have the next 4 games covered and Chaos can keep his powder dry

 

Couldn't agree more. Those of us that take the responsibility of providing an insightful match day thread seriously are deeply wounded by the " couldn't give a sh!t attitude " shown by certain members on this forum.
When I become the supermod this site is crying out for things will be very different, mark my words.
Now, I tire of you all and need to get back to work.
