Former Peterborough United player and current Community Manager Dave Farrell completed the London Road marathon in four hours and 23 minutes, raising thousands of pounds for the Sue Ryder Thorpe Hospice. Farrell, who dyed his hair blonde for the local charity, admitted he hit the 'wall' at 19 miles, but 'plodded' on to the finish where he had an emotional embrace with his family.
