Dean Saunders has been sacked by Wolves and Kenny Jackett has resigned from his job at Millwall this morning! Perhaps they are both linked! So glad that we have a relatively stable chairman and board who probably pull the trigger too late!
I dont have many good things to say about our chairman but the one positive he does have is he doesnt make rush/ snap decisions. Personally I feel Wolves are mad. Saunders was the man that was in charge at Donny when they got relegated last season but rebuilt them over the summer and was in an automatic promotion place when Saunders jumped ship for wolves. I have to say I admire the job Jackett done at Millwall. Never thought I would have many positives to say in relation to Millwall but he has changed my opinion of him.
^ What you said TB, Saunders is (for want of a better phrase) a League 1 manager and I'm sure he'd rebuild them and get them firing in a league that he knows well. It will certainly be interesting to see who they bring in..
So long as we're not riding the merry-go-round then I'm happy. I would've thought Wolves might have learned that you are not going to get success if you keep firing managers. They had a great championship manager in Mick but got rid in an effort to stay in the prem. They then had a good league one manager in Saunders and decided to dispense with him after relegation. No sympathy for them.
Steve Morgan is an idiot. Obviously deserves thanks for sacking MM but his club are in free fall and stability is required. Plainly forgotten what Saunders did at donny and that may be Saunders level. I don't however think anything can be read into jacketts resignation and wolves.
