I don't blame him for being angry neither, Rooney has been called up to the GB squad and in my opinion he should go to the european championships if i was him, of course i would like him to stay behind in Manchester and do pre-season training but that's not gonna happen, other players being called up to their respective countries olympics squad are, De Gea, Evans, Phil Jones, Cleverley, Welbeck, Young, Smalling, and Chicharito, we could have half opur squad + new signings not doing pre-season training and that's not ideal preparation 2-3 months before the new season starts.

My take on it is this, i don't mind the younger players being at the olympics it'll be an excellent experience for them someone like De gea for instabnce, by then he oculd be a premier league champions and going for gold, that probably would never of happened last year with all the criticism he was getting, but a player like Rooney shouldn't be there in my opinion he should be at euro 2012 i know he'll miss the first 2 games but i think England need him more than the GB team do.
