Nine years ago today the Club took over the contract of Danny Murphy from Spurs. That season proved to be a struggle and we changed managers half way through. Right at the death however and with one act, Murphy not only ensured the start of an epic period for Fulham but established himself as a Legend.
After Simon Morgan, Danny Murphy is possibly my favourite Fulham player. Interesting that both of them were signed by managers who failed dismally at Fulham (Alan Dicks and Lawrie Sanchez, respectively).
