    What do you think we did offer him, and why did he turn it down.
    Probably too short a contract

    What did he want and what would we have offered?

    Does he want a higher wage? a more lengthly contract?

    Probably both of these. We probably only offered him a contract until the end of the season, he knows we are fairly desperate for a striker and wants to string us along.
