Good read............https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...mino-teacher-coach-teammates-brazil-liverpool
He's my favourite Liverpool player that combination of hard work, physicality and skill is rarely seen together.
He's a rare talent and so enjoyable to watch. I hadn't realised before that he spent chunks of his career playing in defence which explains why he reads the game so well. Playing further back gives you a different view and perspective of the game. Forwards rely on talent alone, defenders need to have vision and also be hard working. Bobby has it all.
Add to that he loves playing here. Did an interview after Countinho left saying he didnt understand why anyone would want to leave.
He gets a lot of defensive headers in, which fits with his defensive background. Like a lot of things he does, they don't always get mentioned because there's so much going on. The obvious things he does get the attention, but there's so much more to his game. He's the linchpin of the attack, and makes things happen for those around him, and the amount of work - of all kinds - he gets through is amazing. Oddly, he has spells where his touch deserts him, and then it's easy to say he's had a bad game, but even then he is an integral part of the team imo, for all the other stuff he brings.
