**** sunderland! totally board with the predictability of every game! utter ****! deserve to go down! almost hope the ****ers do! players and managers are a load of dick heads who if had any guilt would stay at sunderland, unpaid, and try and get them back up! although i doubt they would get back up anyway! ****ers!
I'm still confused why we are right in the ****e and the barcodes (only 2 points better off and thumped today 4-0) described as being fine and dandy? I think that Europa Cup may be the distraction they just don't need this campaign and are by no means out of the the mire yet at all. I'm sure Pardeaux would rather not be travelling to Lisbon for a very tough physical battle on the Thursday before a crucial derby fixture?
1) Not enough goals in the team 2) Injuries have plagued us 3) Europa League distractions 4) Pardews inability to understand the word "attack". He is very defensive. We were never going to win today (was out so missed the match) however 4-0 is bad regardless. Squeaky bum time chaps!
I admit our bums are squeaking a little louder than yours but youre right to say both are definitely squeaking at the moment kidda.
Don't blame them. From what I heard, we were toothless, overly defensive and uninterested. I would not want to talk about that.
Driving back from the game we had TalkShite radio on and they went down to the Etihad and the commentator (not sure if it was Ian Danter) and Alvin Martin said he was very impressed with Newcastles set up and game plan. As they spoke, City scored. Then, within 10 mins they went back at 2 -0 and were both talking about how negative and lacking attacking intent they had. Talk about wanting your cake and eating it. Man City are a good team who have learned how to graft out goals and then punish teams as they did today. We will do well to emulate that next weekend at The Bridge and if we come away with a 2-0 defeat I'll settle for that and move on to the Derby game with a clean slate.
Perhaps. I get the feeling if there is a winner in the derby, said team is definitely staying up. We need to beat Fulham. I am not hopeful.
Youre massive favourites mate but then that works in our favour imo. The last few times we have gone over to your place, under Bruce especially, we have been full of confidence and got caned. Under Reidy we came over as massive underdogs and won 2-1 twice. I'm hoping our massive underdog status this time (all the expectation is on you to win) works in our favour as under Reidy, as the pressure is off us to some extent. A draw or better is a good result for us I think. Thats and O'Neill hasn't lost a derby yet? Lol
