Podolski to become the new Eboue? Always smiling, having a laugh, popular with team mates, has obvious qualities but not always able to get into the first team? And fast becomming a fan favourite even if he isn't in the team!
a german with a sense of humour ! his worth to changing room team morale [and fans morale] is priceless. he needs to stay and get some more game time, but if he is happy with what he is playing at moment then he will stay, and the picture seem to show he is a very happy man. perhaps he is AW secret weapon in getting other German players to join. for a player that always seems to get subbed at 70 mins, or who comes on for last 20 mins, he never shows dissent. in fact he always seems to be up for games and show commitment. sometimes players just find their home and want to play for the fans. isn't not often just sometimes.

Last season Pod was carrying an injury that I think he had surgery for in the suimmer. This season he has looked like he was carrying an injury until about a month ago and if Im right and he can get properly fit for next season we will have one hell of a player.
