Morning all :emoticon-0148-yes: Its Wednesday 31st March, and here's Doc, the voice of truth and justice to everything Leeds Utd

Another story about Bielsa wanted by other clubs. Antonio Cassano begs the owners of Sampdoria to poach Bielsa before its too late.

Fabrizio Romano says he has hear that Bielsa is planning with Leeds to make an impact in the transfer market, and is almost 100% sure that Bielsa will sign a new contract.

Lucas Ocampos has stated he would love to play for Bielsa again, but will be staying in Spain this Summer.

Bayern Munich have told Douglas Costa that they will not be keeping him for next season. He has only played 11 games so far and has a too high wage demand, plus he has been out injured and wont be fit for a while.

Costa is also not wanted by his own Club Juventus so the stories about him going to Leeds seem a bit silly. Yes Bielsa may admire him but would he take a 30 year old slower version of the player Costa

Will Bielsa start with Roberts, does Bielsa have to start with Roberts as we shouldn't be very far away from having a full squad available. Will Roberts be punished by Bielsa because he knows what rules are for players on International duty are for?

After just saying we should have a full squad to choose from the story on some outlets last night was that Bamford still injured, Roberts banished and Gelhardt getting game time. Somehow I don't think this scenario is a runner!

    Morning All

Bielsa would rather play round pegs in square holes than given the youngsters a chance.

Let's be honest, Struijk ONLY got his chance by accident. There was nobody else. Now look at him!

If its only one youngster, or even two, the starting line up have the experience to compensate.

Because they have no first team experience, when they go on loan to a physically daunting league 1 or 2 club, they find it difficult.

I'd only be interested in Douglas Costa if he was a freebee.

His dribbling is exceptional, but we don't need any wide players.

Let's get Harrison signed up, a bloody good left back and a free scoring midfielder with a big engine.

Bielsa loves wingers and always uses free scoring wingers. Harrison has provided goals and assists and at £11m is a steal. Raphinha is a monster who gives a touch of world class wing play and scores goals and assists. Poveda hasnt proven he can do that and has had plenty of chances, but last week playing for the 23s we saw the usual Poveda fast feet, tricky but no end product and frustrating to watch, turn into Raphinha for the last half hour. Seriously it was like a switch was flicked and he was unplayable, he created a sublime goal for Summerville and was unlucky not to score himself. He had 3 players on him at one stage and waltzed through to supply Greenwood with a chance. If that Poveda shows up again I will be happy, if not he should maybe move on. There has been a couple of wingers mentioned who score goals so I believe Bielsa will bring in another who can scare defences

One of the wingers mentioned recently is England U21 star Noni Maduekli who has had a hand in 17 goals this season in holland for PSV. Bayern Munich are chasing him which makes him a better option than Costa who they want rid of. This kid has been compared to Foden but bigger and more powerful, so one to watch. Only 19yo so would be fine not starting every game. Costa really needs to be gone Im afraid

    Good morning,

I would also rather see Gelhardt than Roberts but let's remember fans have been calling for the youth to get more game time for the last few years, many of these are now struggling in league one and two. Remember when everyone was saying Edmondson was ready and should be starting? Even Roberts has shown how easier it is to look good in the under 23's and if he hadn't already been struggling in the first team, the same people would be raving about how great he is for the kids.

IMO we should've already given Gelhardt a few minutes where possible so that he's more ready to step in if needed as he looks the most likely to come though next.

Agree about costa but harrison had a run of games where he was average at best. Yet he is lauded as brilliant and a steal at 11 million. Him and klich are not for me and poveda too.

I agree only those who really stand out in the u23s league 3 should be considered for the bench.

The top rumour purveyors in Europe are Fabrizio Romano and Guillem Balague’ so can be relied upon for squashing or confirming stories. Firstly Romano states openly Costa is wanted in Mexico by Tigres but they cannot afford his wages and nowhere is Leeds mentioned. Romano confirms Llorente is enjoying his time in Leeds and had to take advice from Pablo and others before agreeing to come so knew what he was doing, but agreed to come because he wanted to learn and improve under Bielsa. Romano has said nothing about Rodrigo and if he even smelled any truth in stories he would be on it. Balague’ is probably better than anyone on Spanish football and has said zero on Rodrigo so forget it.

Remember Romano also said Bielsa is staying and planning transfers

Harrison has been pants in a few games this season but has also been pretty good at times. Last match he got back to his better form, so for only £11m a steal.

there are some U23s who are way too good for the 23s. Gelhardt has played Championship football for half a season so takes no crap from older players. He is also by far the best player in the league and will win not only the golden boot and player of the year, but must get a shot soon. Bielsa has said that Huggins has the chance to be special as he can play in many positions. He played against Arsenal and in 3 different positions so not bad for a kid

We're in Prem 2, about to join the Citeh's and Chelsea's in the top division.

We have the skill, not the physical attributes of the lower leagues

Premier League2 as teams which include first team premier league players or championship players coming back from injury or getting game time. So its pleasing to see how people like Greenwood Gelhardt and Poveda waltz around prem defenders or great to see Kenneh, Drameh, Cresswell etc deal with prem strikers and shut them out. Dont underestimate this crop of 23s

From what Bielsa has said I think he'll stay. He gets on with Orta and Radz, all of whom he has worked with for 3 seasons now. They know each other and work well together. Bielsa isn't someone who is swayed with money so as long as they are all on the same page he will stay. He believes in the project so unless the board stop listening to him or don't deliver transfer wise he will take the project as far as he can. Special manager we have and it'll be a sad day when he does leave.

Lucas Ocampos in summer 2022 when we're in the Europe and challenging for the title then?

Douglas Costa - no. Too old for and injury prone, paper talk.

Not sure Bielsa will do anything with Roberts as that's a country rather than club thing but who knows?

I think Roberts has looked good the last few games so maybe something to improve on? If Bamford and Rodrigo are still injured then Roberts will start and possibly we'll see Gelhardt but I do get why Gelhardt wouldn't get into the first team yet. You need to fight for a place, bide your time and work your way into the team. Not easy for the 23s and some will make it but lots won't. Only 2 of the loanees are doing well but if it was for all the fans we'd have a team full of 23s playing when we aren't doing well but Bielsa has the same players for a reason. Next year will be Gelhardt's season for me if he seizes the opportunity in the cups that I'm sure he'll get.

These words will come back to haunt you next season Matt

Cresswell in my opinion is better than Struijk but Struijk has earned his place and Cresswell will wait his time sat on the bench as we have 3 International CBs ahead of him. Drameh will be 1st team squad next season Gelhardt will Huggins will but Sam Greenwood I worry about. Will he hang around I dont know he may decide to go out on loan or go elsewhere if he doesnt get a chance

Fantastic player, great goalscorer but ...... 32yo and cannot do what Bamford does. Pep not really playing him because he cant press like Bamford, what we need is a scorer like Aguero and the high press of Paddy value if that player would be Haalandish
