Good Morning Everyone What a weekend - Josh Warrington destroyed Carl Frampton and Leeds came from two goals down to beat the much fancied Villa. Jack Clarke scored his first (of many) goals. His close ball control is incredible. When should he start a game? As we know Douglas fell ill during the warm up and was replaced by Davis! This being the case, was anyone else surprised that Shackleton didn't keep his place at right wing back and move Ayling to the left? Villa only had two shots on target - they scored with them both. Should Peacock Farrell have done better? Should a keeper in the January transfer window be top of our priorities? How many signings do we need in January? How do the youngsters O'Leary inherited compare to the fledglings Bealsa currently has at his disposal? How do they compare to the loanees we currently have at our disposal? Do you have any funny Christmas stories relating to LUFC?
Morning Matt and all. And what a great morning it is. Imo, opinion Clarke should be starting the next 2 games at least. He makes a huge difference when he comes on but we need that from the start, especially at home. A new keeper has to be on the agenda. Difficult to compare the current crop to O'Leary's , mainly because of the different standards of football but the future is looking very rosy with what we have. Harrison and Baker need dropping to the u'23's for good, neither are anywhere near good enough, why play them over our own lads, hopefully both will go back to their clubs in January.

Wow what a match and what a team. Davies plays mainly left so went straight into the Douglas role. He was caught out a couple of times but will not have faced players of that quality before, besides in training. Bielsa isnt scared of blooding kids and we have some really good ones. Jack Clarke is special. It looks like Harrison and Baker have now failed and maybe we should look at trying to send them back to free up wages for players who will help the cause. New keeper as No1 required. BPF is young but he worries me and his positional play seems to be the problem. Much better than last season so he learns, and will get better but I will feel better with more experience between the sticks. We also need a player who can create and score in midfield. A replacement for Saiz and for me Ibai Gomez a player Bielsa knows and has played Bielsaball will fit straight in. A new striker who scores goals required. I worry that Roberts is missing a lot and Bamford our main striker has been out injured and struggling to get fully fit. Again any new striker will be from abroad because of money asked for UK strikers. Its all gone quiet on the striker front and no stories for a couple if weeks now, so that could be good news or it could mean we dont get one. Thank god for Roofe’s progress this season
Morning all... Great match, I was still buzzing this morning. I was reading Cibicki has almost secured a move away, we know Saiz has gone and Blackman so that’s three lots of wages. My heart tells me we don’t need to buy anyone in January after the Villa showing, my head tells me otherwise. Shackleton and Gotts on the bench yesterday, Wiki states Gotts is a RB so are Coyles days numbered? On a side note, sorry to read you’re getting veiled threats via twitter Elland regarding the links to streams you put up, can’t be enjoyable.
Morning all......a bit fragile this morning, overdid the birthday celebrations a bit too much. What a feeling though, top of the league and a fantastic 2nd half comeback to take all 3 points. I don't know where we'll end up but I am just enjoying the ride. Merry Christmas to all you fellow whites

New broom comes in and players like Westwood are back in the team. can't see him being allowed to leave on a free or for less than £5m now
Contract up in June, they’ll never get £5m? Reading between the lines it sounds like a deal might have been done in principle under the old boss to let him leave now he is wondering if it’s still on??
