Good Morning. It's Wednesday 3rd August, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road Leeds closing in on PSG star with €20m bid It has been reported that in the last 24 hours, Leeds have submitted a €20m bid for PSG forward Arnaud Kalimuendo. The French U21 International has been on Victor Orta's radar all Summer, but were reluctant to swoop whilst they had a chance to sign Charles De Ketelaere from Brugge. Now that the Belgium International has finally penned a long term deal at the San Siro, Leeds are keen not to miss out on their second target. Kalimuendo is highly regarded at PSG, but has little chance of breaking into the starting line up, as he contends with Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe. PSG’s director of football Luis Campos is hoping to complete a deal between €20m and €25m (£16.7m-£21m). please log in to view this image Sarr on Leeds radar Leeds are reported to be interested in Watford's winger Ismaila Sarr. The 24yo Senegalese International joined the Hornets from Rennes back in the Summer of 2019 for a reported club record £30m, but has never managed to set the World alight. Last season, in the top flight, he netted five times, and registered two assists in 22 games, yet the Championship outfit have slapped a €35 m (£29.2m) price tag on him. Leeds remain on the hunt for both a striker, and a left back, so being linked to another winger will only fuel speculation about Jack Harrison's future. please log in to view this image Do Leeds want rid of Drameh Leeds-live have revealed that Swansea City wanted to sign Cody Drameh on loan this summer, but Leeds were only willing to sell the young right back, and unfortunately the Swans were unable to meet Leeds valuation. The 20yo has two years left on his three-year deal, but his yearning for first team football may have worked against him. Whilst he earned rave reviews from his performances for Cardiff in the second half of last season, it is believed he put several noses out of joint by demanding a loan move. With the arrival of Rasmus Kristensen, and Ayling expected to resume training later this month, the likelihood is that Drameh could be pushed further down the pecking line at Elland Road. please log in to view this image
Kalimera (good morning) from Arnaia village up in the mountains of Halkidiki. I seem to have caught wanderlust.
Good morning from fro a sunny Bardsey Special K looks a big strong attacker and I must say that we will be betteroff without Phillips totally overated in my opininonNow lets get a LB
I honestly believe Arnaud Kalimuendo is the one we are after, but the lad hasn't quite weighed up his options. Rumour has been said he wants to stay and fight for his place under the new staff, but he has a tall order in shifting Neymar,Messi,Mpappe but just shows how much he believes in himself if that is the case. My own personal view is he really doesn't want to leave France at this moment. I do believe he will move somewhere, and the lad is weighing up his options. As on Sarr its obviously a knock-on effect with Harrison but I don't see this one happening unless Harrison does take a wander. as we will need a instant replacement. the media just put 1 and 1 together and get 3. Rubbing there hands saying if Harrison goes Leeds will need another winger lets look and see what names we can bring up to get my page hits up. If nobody comes in today, I don't see anyone coming in before Saturday.
Morning all and yamas to wakey if Kalimuendo is going to happen it should be quick, if not I fear the kid will go elsewhere. He and his agent met with Campos lsst night but no idea of the outcome yet. Radz has been involved with the owner of PSG and obviously Orta speaking to Campos. 2 years ago we signed Gelhardt, Drameh, Greenwood and Summerville. 3 of the quartet signed new long contracts yesterday. So either a new deal for Drameh is on the way or we are going to sell him. For me it would be best to keep him seeing how Ayling is injured more and more, and not getting any younger
Personally wouldn't be giving Drameh a new contract as it would mean a significant pay rise and in my opinion he's not shown the loyalty to Leeds United to deserve one. Looks like we're looking to sell and I've no problem with that.
Bit of sense creeping in for a change Players will take the knee during the opening match round of the season, dedicated No Room for Racism match rounds in October and March, Boxing Day fixtures following the conclusion of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, Premier League matches on the final day of the season and The FA Cup and EFL Cup Finals. The Premier League captains said: “We have decided to select significant moments to take the knee during the season to highlight our unity against all forms of racism and in so doing we continue to show solidarity for a common cause . We remain resolutely committed to eradicate racial prejudice, and to bring about an inclusive society with respect and equal opportunities for all.”
Who cares. Let them do what they want. If its that upsetting, people can turn off their tvs till kickoff. Can't be that difficult surely
I don’t agree with taking the knee, if I were a footballer I’d refuse to but like you said, who cares. My opinion doesn’t make me right, just respect if others want to, let them get on with it, it’s literally less than 5 seconds
