Good Morning. It's Wednesday 18th September, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road Is time running out for Farke Eight points from a possible fifteen is not the start that any of us would have wanted, but is it any surprise after another Summer of upheaval. Fans are starting to question whether Daniel Farke has the right credentials to get Leeds promoted, or whether Crysencio Summerville's one man show flattered his capabilities to manage a team of Leeds stature! The same could be said of Buendía and Cantwell's contributions at Norwich, though in their case, they did at-least reach the promised land (twice). Leeds are a different animal altogether; the pressure is more and expectations are higher, and that's before the gaffer has to factor in some of the imbecilic decisions from the Elland Road board! A bad result at Cardiff could very much spell the end of Farke's tenure, but if he goes, who picks up the poisoned chalice? please log in to view this image Worrall's challenge on Solomon not a penalty - Gallagher Former Premier League Referee Dermot Gallagher has waded in on Joe Worrall's last ditch challenge on Manor Solomon during Burnley's recent visit to Elland Road. The former Nottingham Forest defender, a £4m Summer signing for the Clarets tackled Solomon from behind, when clear through on goal. Whilst Gallaher admits 'it looks a penalty all day long', replays clearly show Worrall gets some of the ball, and praised James Bell (the man in black) for his judgement call. Speaking on Sky Sports News’ ref watch: “Brilliant refereeing, because the defender actually gets the ball. It looks a penalty all day long but he gets the ball. As he comes round here, he gets the ball, it’s a really, really good decision.” please log in to view this image
Morning all. Not the start many had predicted and many more had hoped for. The style of plays a worry, were dreadful to watch. Have all the dummies been spat out of the prams yet or are we in danger of being hit with a few more
Morning all It’s no secret I don’t rate Farke, at the same time I’d hate him to be sacked unless we have an immediate replacement. New man in within 48hrs or we just have to ride this out a bit longer
Cardiff away ...bogey side and bottom of the league ...1 goal scored ....who would they want to play to break that run ... we're on the way bluebirds
It was a stonewall penalty. You can't go through somebody to win the ball. Even if you get the ball 1st the momentum smashes through the back of the attacker which is a foul. 100% peno
With our current team, and averaging our performances over our 5 games, we would not have made the play-offs last season. The only reason in my eyes why Farke deserves more time is because he has a solid history of doing well in the Championship, though:- i) Why we didn't buy a specialist set piece/corner taker is beyond me ii) Farke's use of substitutes is awful iii) I've seen nothing from his tactics that have turned Leeds games around
