Good Morning Everyone Leeds U23s drawn at home to Newcastle United in the semi finals of the Premier League Cup. Tie to be played between 30 April and 10 May. Perhaps by then, we would have located Izzy Brown! Phil Hay tweeted that Leeds are bracing themselves for an FA charge after fans threw objects at Millwall players during Saturday’s game. Fans on social media are obviously asking the question as to whether a points deduction could be imposed? Leeds have already been handed two punishments this season. £200,000 for spygate and £5,000 from the FA following an altercation with Bolton. Turkish outfit Trabzonspor are set to take advantage of Leeds offer to permanently sign Ekuban for 1m. The Ghanaian has seven goals to his name, plus an International Cap this season. Trabzonspor have gone as far as saying they are going to slap a 10m price tag on the 25yo to put off would be predators in the Summer! Just 36 hours after Huddersfield Towns fate was confirmed, council workers were spotted removing the 'Premier Town/Premier League' signs from the gateway routes into town. The blue-and-white signs bearing the Town crest and Kirklees Council logo, were put up at seven prominent locations across the town. There are still six more games in the Premier League - why remove them now? A council spokesperson said people had begun to steal them! Surely that saves the Council time and money in taking them down? Mike Dean will take charge of Saturdays game at Birmingham! So far this season, the Wirral-based official has refereed 30 games where he has produced a total of 125 yellow cards and 10 reds. The last Leeds game he took charge of was their Sky Bet Championship home fixture against Reading in November which the Whites won 1-0. Five players were booked in that game; including Dallas, Douglas and Alioski In total, Mr Dean has taken charge of 26 Leeds games; with the Whites winning 10 of them, drawing three and losing 13. The last Blues game he refereed was against Aston Villa in October 2016. Mr Dean will be assisted on Saturday by Ian Hussin and Mark Scholes, with Darren England acting as the fourth official.
Love this stat as a few days ago some were saying BPF was a better keeper than Kiko. Stats dont lie and I think we saw some confusion in defence again on Saturday with BPF behind them
Big day for Bolton Big scam for Derby and the EFL really need to sort this shyte out as we await points deductions for Bolton, Villa, Wendies, Swansea and should have been Derby If Bolton go into admin today the points deduction will happen next season if they are relegated this season
Morning all. I despair when hearing about these ****ing neanderthals that still exist thinking that throwing anything at players is a clever thing to do. They will never learn that it achieves nothing but pain and punishment for the club they allege to support. We will certainly get some sort of charge but to deduct points would be setting a dangerous precedent in my eyes. The club needs to throw these morons out for good and let's hope they feature in the Darwin awards some time soon and do us all a favour.
A good chilly morning to you all Agree with Norman above,as the EFL will be looking at us and thinking Leeds are dangerously close to promotion. They will not want to lose their major cash cow,and will not need much of an excuse for a points deduction,so why do these morons give them the possible ammunition ?
Morning all... The incident on Saturday was bad but not on the same planet when judging a fan running on the pitch and clobbering a player around the face. I’m not justifying what happened but wasn’t this incident down to Millwall celebrating their goal in front of the Leeds fans? A fine at most
I agree and its obvious in the cold light of day. However, given the atmosphere on Saturday, I couldnt have guaranteed I wouldnt have thrown something if I was near enough and Im normally very mild mannered. Emotions take over. Morning all by the way and I dont give a toss who gets deducted points once its not us
As soon as i saw the objects being thrown i cringed, the FA will be rubbing there hands together.............fkg morons..........both the fans and FA. What i would do is pass the the cost of the fine on to the supporters, that in turn would make 30 odd thousand police on the terracing, because i would for one name and shame or point out the idiot(s), have him evicted and lifetime ban. As for points deduction...........NO CHANCE!!! they didnt give Arsenal a points deduction against Spurs so no worries there.
Don't believe you just said that, fine the 99% of loyal fans who did nothing wrong. plenty of camera's at Leeds and all tickets are bought by season ticket holders or gold members,so easy to catch the guys who did it.Maybe increase the sky tv subscription to deter people from watching on tv and coming up with daft ideas.
good afternoon from a dull cold Bardsey What has happened to Boltonafter todays hearing I noted that an undischarged bankrupt was at the hearing how can he possibly be a fit and proper person seving the fans of Bolton with due diligence its just unbelievable until you listen to Shaun Harvey who Cv dsays he served Geoffrey Richmond when he took Bradford into administration and then Bates Listening to him I thought he was inarticulate and sounded like a country bumpkin God help the EFL Pulis days at Boro may well be coming to and end the crowd turned on him last night not a good sign .Thank goodness we didn't pay £6m for Ashley Fletcher Monk wanted him and got him for Boro great buy Garry!
Bolton have been given a stay of execution by the Judge to allow for the sale of the club to go through. No points will be deducted from the teams who have already played Bolton, although our advantage if they did would be closer to Norwichs and Sheff U's goal average, no change in positions though.
