Happy Halloween Everyone Since the final whistle on Saturday, there has been a lot of talk about Jansson's tussle with Forest defender Michael Dawson. According to Forest sources the Swede punched the veteran defender in the face following Roofe's equaliser. Fortunately a Leeds fan has actually got recorded evidence about what happened!!! Watching the video, Jansson went to retrieve the ball from the net as he wanted the game to restart as soon as possible to try and find the winning goal. Dawson took it on himself to try and stop the Swede coming away with the ball. Jansson won the dual and heading up the pitch. Dawson then launches a fist at Jansson. Leeds United are again favourites to win promotion from the Championship. Leeds are now 11/10 to clinch promotion with West Brom now at 11/8 and table toppers Sheffield United are into 13/10. Middlesbrough and Derby County drew 1-1 on Saturday with Boro now at 13/8 and Derby at 11/4. Meanwhile, three wins on the trot for Norwich has propelled them into the playoff places - albeit with the teams around them having a game in hand. If you had to choose just two positions to strengthen in January, where would it be and why? Do you have players in mind for these positions?
Morning all Foyth in defence and Prijavic up front. If Bielsa feels we have enough up front as Bamford will be back and we have the kids, I would say we need a new Pablo type creative player
Morning all....positions i think need strengthening are defence & up front. On this, I agree with doc, foyth & prijavic would do nicely..if we are allowed to be greedy, wouldn't mind Gomez as well.
In this respect it would be good to have Brown and Bamford in for a couple of games before the Jan window opens. Then we will be in a better position to focus any available funds towards specific needs.
Last night Bielsa went to look at Liam Kitching playing for harrogate Town. Kitching was his usual steady away player. Could this mean Kitching being brought back at Xmas but probably to do U23s under Corberan which then means maybe Nessy or Halme into the first team squad?
Good Morning to Matt Doc and co from a sunny if cool Bardsey First of all I would like to thank Doc for the videos I asked to see Prijavic looks a real handful and has great heading ability so would be good for set pieces and penalties if we ever got one! Gomez is a very tricky winger and is useful for set pieces and penalties So apparently we are looking at a young Irish Iad called Ron an Curtis who operates on the left but is right footed and can score goals in League 1 I think I would be happy with 3 signings Foyth Gomez and Prijavic this should insure promotion 'In the meantime we have to make do for 9 weeks Interesting Doc you pointed out our players on yellow cards How do we compare to Boro surely Ayala must be on a lot and Flint and Clayton and Sheff u Derby WBA
Could be right there. Looking at videos of Prijavic I had a slight concern that the defences looked pathetic and the stands in some games were empty, looked like he was playing in a much lower standard league.
Good morning Matt & everyone Another CB, creative midfielder/winger plus a goalscorer required to give us the right to be favourites, otherwise it's anybody's guess who'll go up Also bring back Lewie Coyle to give us another wing-back option, he's one of our own & probably ahead of our U23 wing-backs
If Brown is as good as he was, then we have the cover for Saiz and Pablo, would like to see a goal scorer, as don't think Bamford is a 20+ a season striker and another CB, also bring Coyle back in from loan. Those odds are ridiculously short.
Cant argue with this really. And the half empty stadium 2020 mentioned its because that was the National Stadium. Greek Superleague standard? panathanaikos etc?
Blatent attempt by Pontus to head butt his fist and worthy of the three game ban coming his way I think.
