    Good Morning Everyone

Leeds climbed within a point of leaders Norwich with a shaky 1-0 home win against relegation threatened Reading.

A goal on the hour mark by Dallas of all people was enough to hand Bielsa's men their fourth home victory in their last five games.

There was late drama when the Royals were awarded a late penalty, only to see Peacock Farrell pull off an extraordinary save.

Since the last time Leeds were awarded a penalty, 57 games ago, they have had 10 spot kicks against them.

    Thoughts?

After the game, Reading Manager Paul Clement said:-

"I think on reflection from the whole game, we did enough to get a draw.

"It's a strange feeling because as a professional you want to get points for your team by winning or drawing games, but that might be one of the best games we've played.

"The players did everything that I asked of them in terms of the tactical set up and in how they worked hard on and off the ball against a team who don't stop running.

"We did really well on all fronts, the only thing we didn't get was the result the performance deserved."

Yorkshire Police have issued advice a warning to fans ahead of Saturdays game against the Blades.

Superintendent Paul McCurry, who is overseeing the fixture, urged fans to plan their journey in advance, warning that Sheffield is likely to be busy with Christmas shoppers.

The police chief also reminded fans that Bramall Lane has a sophisticated CCTV system, which can monitor every seat in the ground.

He said: "On Saturday, December 1, Sheffield United face Leeds United at Bramall Lane in what promises to be an exciting fixture for the city.

"We have been finalising plans to ensure the match will be safely enjoyed by everyone. "As this fixture falls in early December and the city centre is likely to be quite busy with people enjoying some Christmas shopping, I'd advise those attending the game to plan in extra time as possible travel delays are expected.”

He added: "There will also be searches and turnstiles at the football grounds, so I would again ask fans to consider this when planning their journeys.

"Officers policing the match this weekend will be utilising the new CCTV system installed by the club. The system, made up of 14 cameras, monitors and records every seat in Bramall Lane.

"This will enable us to gather evidence from incidents inside the ground, such as anti-social behaviour, and work alongside the club to identify offenders and prosecute where appropriate.

“Incidents of anti-social behaviour or disorder will not be tolerated under any circumstances and if you are found to be involved in such behaviour, you will be dealt with accordingly.

"We will be working alongside Sheffield United and the relevant away club, to ensure supporters, both home and away, receive these messages.

"We want to ensure that everyone attending the match has a wonderful time and enjoys their day, so we look forward to welcoming away fans into Sheffield and hope for a safe, fun event for all."

Morning all, I didn’t see how we did not deserve all three points, we created more chances, we were the better team, 15 minutes towards the end we were a bit shaky but in all back to back wins, back to back clean sheets and Phillips in at CB didn’t let anyone down.

Good Morning to Matt and co from a dull Bardsey
The morning started with the new alarm going off poor Moe is running on empty but the police where with us within 3 minutes and assured me that the new locks would deter thieves now awaiting for reasons as to why the alarm was activated at 7am
Managed to ground out a fine win BPF did himself proud whilst Baker must be put on the train back to London showing no respect t for the club and the fans I think he will know about it this morning walking out of the ground before the final whistle a disgrace

I wouldn’t be too hard on a player for that. Yes he should support the team, but he’s waited months for a chance and gets pulled off at half time. Must have been gutted... he’s not a kid and this is a second season out on loan where he’s had no impact. He probably thinks his career is going down the pan. Reprimand? Yes, but put yourself in his shoes.

    Morning all <ok>

For the last 3 weeks I have been of the opinion that Dallas and BPF should be dropped, so I am now comparing notes on deciding who's opinion matter most is it me or Bielsa. I'll get back to you later when I decide who's better for the club. In the meantime well done Dallas because you covered every blade of grass, got more tackles in than anyone as well as scoring. BPF ok you win mate <ok><applause><applause> Those 2 points you saved could be the difference this season. maybe we should all shut the hell up when deciding to slag players off unless they really deserve it. Baker could be one of those times however

Apparently there was a Reading handball in the box last night, but everyone knows we dont need penalties, fkg 57 games now, and somebody once said that a penalty is worth 1 point, because average final results equate to a draw? Could have saved Hecky or Thomas last season and had us a couple of points clear at the top now?

Morning all...another 3 points in the bag, it wasn't pretty to watch but sometimes, the results are all that matters and you could see how much it meant in the players reaction to BPF's penalty save. Speaking of penalties, we're never going to get one given us while the likes of Alioski are pulling stunts like the one last night, it will only make the ref's look even harder & longer at any possible penalty claim. So onwards & upwards to the blunts. MOT

Only watched the last 30 mins due to work, but looked an open game. Great peno save but BPF he always seems to bounce back well.

    Morning all. <ok>

Hi guys. Unlike Bucks, I watched all your game last night - well it was either that or do the washing up.

Really good overall performance and you should have won it by at least 3 or 4 clear goals. Thought your high pressing game was a lesson to Reading who didn't learn from it - they let your back 4 play out with no harrassment. Even when they had the ball there was no one making the runs up front for them to test your makeshift defence.

Always enjoy watching the Championship games on the box even though we're not involved this season (there's always next season of course <laugh>) and from what I've seen so far, you look as good or better than most. <ok>

<laugh> I knew these comments would come.

Yes we’d all like to earn his money and we’d all love to play for Leeds.

It doesn’t mean you’re necessarily a prima Donna or you don’t care because you’re gutted at being subbed. You could argue he’s shown he does really care... and yes you could also argue he’s shown he cares about himself not the team.

Whichever i’d rather see signs that someone is gutted that the night went badly for him than was seen laughing and joking during or after a defeat.

I’m more bothered about whether he turns up apologises and knuckles down.

Apparently he had a 'can't be bothered' attitude in the recent u23 3-1 drubbing by Crewe and got hauled off at halftime, so I don't think he's got it in him to knuckle down and fight for a regular place in the first team

I think for all his talk, Bielsa probably regarded Reading as less of a likely threat than say the Blunts, and he can now tell Chelsea he offered the guy his big chance and he didn't take it. I don't think we'll see Baker in a white shirt again.

It would be unusual for all loan players at a club to do the biz. Remember watching crap like Bannon, Townsend and the 2 players from Spuds and all 4 left us to play as full Internationals.

In this batch Blackman I rated more than BOF and so did Bielsa, Izzy we havnt seen yet, Harrison started really well and looked like he could be the dogs but went backwards. He did however play out of his skin for the U23s before limping off, so Inthink he will be able to domit. Baker though I have only seen a couple of glimpses of his potential, why? So the reality is I dont think he has it at our club, cannot handle the big club pressure, so lets let him go and hope he gets his career back on track elsewhere, but a waste of money
