    Good Morning Everyone

The YEP have revealed their 2018/19 Leeds Utd awards.

Instead of telling you who they have voted for, I'm going to ask you who should collect the awards, starting with :-

    Young player of the season?

    Signing of the season?

    Disappointment of the season?

    Game of the season?

    Goal of the season?

    Moment of the season?

    Surprise of the season?

    Villain of the season?

Spurs are preparing a 10m to take Jack Clarke to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Thoughts, if the money was reinvested?

Radrizzani has offered an honest and frank view of what to expect over the Summer:-

“We will have to run a difficult summer in terms of transfer market but we have a great academy,”

    **** off Radz <grr>

Think we were all expecting that. Lets just hope Bellisa is prepared to work under those conditions.

I'd be happy to sell Jack Clarke 10m and Kemar Roofe 12m plus if it meant we didn't lose any more of our first team, and all the money was reinvested.

Signing of the Summer must be Casper Sloth to Motherwell or some such Jock team

Here's a question that pees me off every season. Bournemouth is a tiny football club on the South coast that has much bigger clubs next door like Portsmouth and Southampton. B/Mth get crowds of 7,000 yet managed to get promoted a few seasons ago and manage to stay up in the Prem and can afford to offer money to poach our better kids and now chasing Kalvin Phillips. Football is screwed!!! The rewards for promotion means a massive club like ours cannot get out of this league because of the way the Prem is rewarded.

    Morning all...

We do have some exciting players ready to step up from the academy, Clarke I’d take the money as long as there were huge sell on clauses. Roofe I’d consider taking the cash for too although I’d prefer to move Bamford on.

Our largest hindrance is the loans we sent out, including Saiz if we can free up some wages and recoup some transfer money I don’t see why we can’t bring in a couple of decent signings.

    Tyler Denton
    Saiz
    Anita
    Grot
    O’Kane
    De Bock
    Ideguchi
    Cibicki
    Sacko
    Ekuban

I’ve not included, Wilkes, Pearce, Coyle, Rey, Dalby, Shaughnessy or Bouy in that list. Surely there has to be an £8m - £10m valuation on that lot? Wages what, £50k at least?

I’m pretty sure we’re going to lose one big name, Pontus, Roofe or Phillips, I want them all to stay but Shackleton is first team ready, the U23s are knocking on the door, if Bielsa stays I think we’ll be okay

Young player of the season? Jack Clarke. I know he's not back to his best yet since his illness but when he is he's a joy to watch.

Signing of the season? Tough one. On paper it should have been Kiko but that turned a bit sour. Douglas didn't perform as we'd hoped and the loan signings, the less said the better. He gets stick but Bamford did score a fair few goals, so he gets it by default.

Disappointment of the season? Throwing away promotion - twice.

Game of the season? Loads to choose from. For drama, Villa away. For sheer Leeds awesomeness, W.Brom at home.

Goal of the season? Roofe's second away to Derby.

Moment of the season? Being top of the league at Christmas. What could possibly go wrong....

Surprise of the season? Getting Bielsa as manager.

    Villain of the season? Saiz.

Money will deffo come in for Saiz but may be just £3m which is what we paid, Ideguchi wanted in Berlin but we only paid £500k, Cibicki is wanted by numerous teams so will make a profit on him and Ekuban has a move happening as we speak for £1m, Grot will attract money so we may only get £6/7m as the rest will be released. Bouy will be released as will Coyle so he can get his career on track as he's 24 now and not made it in Leeds, but has been fantastic for the 2 seasons in L1. Oriol Rey will be interesting as he is a superstar in Spain and deserves a chance with Leeds

    Morning everyone.
Not going to get involved in rumour and counter rumour, will just say that if we keep selling the Crown Jewels we will not get anywhere, and don't deserve to.
When Radz first came in I said then I was concerned that he would use us as a shop window.
Only thing that interests me at the moment, is Bielsa staying or going.

    Morning All,

I know Radz may not have cash to splash about but I still can't fault somebody who enters an auction and doesn't say he has loads of money to spend.

Apart from the obvious my disappointment of the season was Izzy Brown. I admit I was one of those who hoped for a lot more from him.

Disappointing but not surprising based on what we’ve witnessed. Where did he say this fella?

Basically a come and get it message to the vultures.

Personally, if we got good money I wouldn’t be gutted by Roofe leaving.. he did well earlier in the season but we were dominating sides and creating chances. He wants to be on the same money as Bamford, and you can’t blame him... but if we don’t have it?

Problem is we then need to buy a new striker and he’ll want paying too, presumably!

Jansson is a divisive figure but a good player... not irreplaceable, but again we’re going to have to buy a replacement.

Phillips is hardest to replace but worth the most, Clarke, probably impacts the first 11 the least, but has the potential. If spurs do want him, by default is 10m too cheap for a top prem side?

    Morning Matt et al

    Young player of the season?
Agree with 1964. Jamie Shackleton. Mr Consistency, Mr Excitement, Mr Pace, Mr Passer, Mr Tackler, Mr Presser, Mr .... all rolled into one. To say he hit the ground running would be a major understatement. Only other real candidate is Clarke, who excited & disappointed in equal measure.

    Signing of the season?
Again, agree with 1964. Marcelo Bielsa

    Disappointment of the season?
Nothing similar on the Richter Scale to going out to Derby with that final 50 min performance

    Game of the season?
So many. Don't want to choose. If pushed, prolly one of the pre-season matches where I was as bamboozled as my 10 year old self by this strange formation & system that I couldn't work out. Took me several games to get the big picture.

    Goal of the season?
    Every. Single. One.

    Moment of the season?
    Meeting Bielsa. Twice. :D

    Surprise of the season?
Has to be those pre-season matches watching this new, complex, exciting system taking it's first teetering steps. Only it wasn't teetering.

    Villain of the season?
A few. Saiz is replaceable & I'll eventually forget him, so it has to be Pampered. Unfairly cost us £200k, a lot of grief (club & fans), & has never apologised for his lies, even though humiliated by Sheffield Constabulary's official comments on the matter. Still has the moral high ground as he's not been brought to boot by the EFL. Not to mention the clear gesticulations to Leeds fans throughout our last match. Anyone else would have been dragged up. Not the golden boy. I now understand why people issue death threats. Do I sound like I hold a grudge?

Wont even be that much bud as they will only be quota fillers like byram was. So wont appear enough to collect the full fees. Time this chairman spent some real money.

Sadly, he can’t spend what, he admits, he doesn’t have.

The issue for me, and I’ll be honest my main beef with Radz is....

We know he doesn’t have the cash or isn’t prepared to put it in. So get some investment. I refuse to believe that the club isn’t investable now. It clearly is. Anyone can see that with a bit more quality in the squad we’d Be odds on for promotion... But taking investment would mean diluting his share.

So he’d rather try and do it on the cheap. That’s what January told us. That’s what his statement quoted by ell is reiterating.

Easy way to sort out all this transfer rubbish
If you buy a player money is due for payment on completion of transfer. In otherwords money upfront never did believe in never never payments.

Exactly. If he hasn’t got the money, get someone who has. Suppose as long as he keeps Elland road full there’s not much incentive
