Good Morning Everyone We may see Forshaw and Saiz playing together on Saturday against Bristol City. With Jansson out injured, it is believed that Phillips will switch to centre back allowing another midfielder to enter the frame. I believe Forshaw will be asked to play deeper in a Phillips type role which will free up Saiz. Square pegs in round holes or could it work? Leeds are being linked with PSG teenage sensation Timothy Weah. The 18 yo striker is the son of former Ballon d'or superstar George Weah. 19yo striker Mallik Wilks is due in Court today to face charges of violent disorder and assault following a stabbing at a West Indian Carnival last year. Outlining the violent disorder offence, the court clerk said it is alleged that, at Chapeltown Road, on August 28, 2017, Wilks "used or threatened unlawful violence and...as such would cause a person of reasonable firmness to fear for his or her safety." Wilks, who is currently on loan at Doncaster Rovers has pleaded not guilty to both offences.
Good Morning to Matt and co from a dull Bardsey Went to bed early last night to be woke up when the burglar alarm went off at 9.15 its the first time we have set it when we were in bed ! They took out the lock from our Everest patio window and smashed the alarm off by this time I had woke up and the police response was really good it took them 5 minutes to respond!A locksmith came from Scunthorpe to put a tempory lock in and was here within 1 hour Thank goodness we put the alarm on or goodness knows what would have happened Noticed Klitch was substituted last night not another injury!
I hope both you and Moe aren't too shaken up. Another good invention my mother has is a door bell that video records whoever is at your door allowing you to see them before you answer and even talk to them. On this occasion it also would have had video evidence if they went anywhere near your door.
Good morning Matt & all So if Bielsa doesn't rate Shaughnessy & we sent another tall CB O'Connor out on loan, why didn't we bring in a 3rd CB during the summer? Ayling is no CB, Phillips & Berardi are not commanding enough in the air Crazy decision imo & one of the major reasons why we won't win this league, could even cost us a play-off place Other clubs around us don't operate on just two big CB's
Without Berardi, Ayling & Jansson & a keeper out of form our defence looks very fragile, any calamity could happen, we may get away with it but I'm not confident even though we are playing a team whom have lost their last three matches. I love Kalvin Phillips who has been a revelation this season imo, but h ise not a main CB, his role is to protect Jansson & Cooper which has worked perfectly in the majority of our games so far !
Sorry White but Cooper and Jannson worked perfectly?? not for me pal, we got exposed at WBA and if not sorted more to come!!!!
O’Connor cant even get a game for a poor Blackpool team. Nessy hasnupset Bielsa because he had hoped to have him as back up CB but due to injury and poor form.. Guess we have just been unlucky with CBs
Mike I have an idea who your burgler was but can’t say anything on here I have an idea his phone will be ringing off the hook now I have made an accusation. All I can say is that Moe is lucky that this depraved house breaker who has a fetish for the more senior lady...
Or one up front the size of roofe we have no options and i see the pro roberts camp dont mention him anymore..
They came through the patio back door. When you consider my hedge is at least 30ft tall they must be desperate I have been told I need to fit snap save locks does anyone know where I can buy them because I have been quoted £450 to fit 3and I have been informed they cost £30 plus vat They cant come near my door I have 100ft drive which is gated so I don't need a door bell thank you but I will install 3 cameras
The TV deal looks crap has anybody actually noticed that we get paid less for each match under this new deal, but the smaller clubs who never feature earn a bit more. The red button service is shyte and the new deal means EFL matches are now almost 150 per season. That ****forbrains Harvey snapped their hands off which means a nice brown envelope was offered. The small clubs wanted the deal but 19 large clubs in the Championship told Harvey not to do it but he ignored them and signed up for 5 years. radz is now hunting for bear and has threatened to oust Harvey, so there will be blood on the carpet before long and the 19 may take extra legal action against the EFL and Sky. Radz is supposed to have the framework of a deal for the Championship with 11 Sports (Which he owns) The Middle East syndicate and a far East group. This story is a runner to watch this space
There aren't 19 large clubs in the Championship, and in any case, this really is only relevant to a select few of relative importance, those clubs being, in order of size, stature and fan base: Leeds United Aston Villa Nottingham Forest Derby County Sheffield Wednesday Sheffield United WBA Stoke City All the others aren't really losing out, they're only shown live when playing one of the above, so not sure what their issue is
Forza I think you belittle some clubs with history and a couple that have gotten used to being in the Prem, Swansea for a start and Norwich have a big history of top flight football. I would even go as far as saying that more viewers would prefer to watch Norwich V Swansea than some of the dross in the Prem. The facts are this, last season WBA recieved £97m in tv revenues yet we were on tv much more than them and got £7.5m. Under this deal if we are still in the Championship we will recieve less than the £7.5m even if we are on tv more than last season and the bottom club in the Prem will get over £100m. We draw huge viewing figures fro all around the world and even Radz has said we get half a million extra viewers in the Far East when we are on tv which is way more than almost everyone outside the top 6 in the Prem.
Sorry Doc I don't consider those two to be big clubs at all (big history of top flight football? I don't think so) and I only included WBA and the Sheffield clubs in my list to beef up the numbers Yes you're right though I would rather watch Norwich vs Swansea than PL dross like Cardiff vs Bournemouth but only because it's relevant to us
Izzy Brown will play a full 90 minutes for the U23s next week and if all goes well he will be available for first team selection thereafter.
