Good Morning Everyone According to Phil Hay Leeds were tieing up the final details of Marcelo Bielsa’s contract last night. The Argentinian is on the brink of taking the hot seat at Elland Road. How has this affected Leeds promtion odds? (to get promoted) Lets have a look Stoke 5/2 West Brom 3/1 Middlesbrough 10/3 Swansea 10/3 Brentford 5/1 Derby 5/1 Leeds 5/1 Aston Villa 11/2 Bristol City 7/1 Norwich 7/1 Nottingham Forest 7/1 Sheffield Utd 7/1 Sheffield Wednesday 7/1 Wigan 7/1 Birmingham 15/2 If and when Bielsa (touch wood) comes off, I wouldn't be surprised if we signed half a dozen South American's. Theoretically, we could have 3 or 4 players called Hernandez Leeds legend Lucas Radebe has urged Leeds to take a look at Mamelodi Sundowns striker Percy Tau after an excellent 2017-18 campaign! Speaking to football website KickOff, Radebe was full of praise for the South Africa international: "I think he is a good player. I think he is one of the players that impressed. But for me, what I liked is the consistency. "I'm not sure about the physical aspect, his presence on the field of play. Because look at [Lionel] Messi how he expresses himself; that's what Percy Tau should be able to do." Tau, has 11 International caps to his name, and has had a hand in 30 goals during his 38 appearances last term. He scored 13, and laid on another 17. A little bit different today. Which of the following have been the most disapointing? (Put them in order, worst at the top.) Brolin Kebe Rush Lee Sharpe Seth Johnson Peter Barnes Cameron Stewart
Good Morning to Matt and co from a very sunny Cote de Bardsey At last we can see the wood for the trees Bielsa is on his way this comes from Phil Hay I am right in thinking that Derby will take £7.'2m for Vydra now if we can sell Roofe for £7m what a swap Hernandez surely this will be imminent as well Marriot favours Forest so let them have him Brolin for I truly thought he would have been a great signing having watched him play so well for Sweden Betting surely Wigan Brentford andBrum are much too short Derby too will have to prune so their odds are much too short
Morning Mike, I remember the story about Brolin. Bill Fotherby, our then MD was sent to the World Cup to bring back Fastino Asprilla. He ignored his orders, and came back with Brolin instead...
Good morning all Surely today is the day .Jesus their is some donkeys in that list of yours Elland, couldn't be asked to sort that pile of sh** (don't want to get my hands dirty)
DRUM ROLL Latest news Bielsa could sign for Leeds today, if not today then tomorrow. Tomorrow never comes.(sorry everyone just trying to lighten the mood)
Morning all. Still nothing to report. Only thing is someday someone will be right and well get a new manager and striker. The I told you sos can begin then. If Manager and Hernandez deals materialise it will indeed be a potentially great start to the pre season. Personally Id like to see most of our rubbish pre season games scrapped and some proper opposition lined up. A couple of hard Argentinian teams maybe to harden up some of our wimps
Morning all, training restarted 27th June last year so based on that we have a couple of weeks before the troops are back. For one I would like to see the majority of our business done by then.
Leeds odds 5/1 shortening all the time, liable to get even shorter when we get Bielsa's contract sighned & new quality sighnings.think if i was a betting man i would, maybe take the 5/1 at this moment in time.
OK Elland here's my three Brolin Kebe Cameron Stewart Damn they were awful, can't even remember a Seth Johnson ?.
