Good Morning Everyone It's mid April, and we are yet to win away from home all year! To make things worse even some weeks back I thought to myself we have 3 or 4 strong players that we need to build our squad around next season. In truth BPF has potential Jansson is better than average in this league although if there's trouble, he'll be there Saiz is very talented but his form has dropped. Can be a show pony Hernandez, we might get another season out of him. He's 33 today... And as for our up and coming Manager, we should go to the Police and charge Barnsley with theft. Have I missed anyone out? After the game, Leeds followers on twitter have started a witch hunt for Ekuban Apparently if Caleb Ekuban had taken half of his chances this season, we’d now be above Wolves.#lufc — Leeds Fan (@LeedsFanz) April 10, 2018 I’d rather Leeds play with 10 men than have Ekuban up front…. what a joke #lufc — Chris Blackburn (@yogibear1990) April 10, 2018 Is Ekuban just Jimmy Kebe in disguise? #LUFC — Hardeep Lall (@dipsydolittle) April 10, 2018 Sorry, but we can't afford to keep Ekuban, we can't afford someone who misses so much, he works hard yes, but it's not enough #lufc — Ben (@ben080385) April 10, 2018 The thing with Ekuban is he looks like a decent footballer. It's just when you give him a ball that it all goes wrong… — !*@# (@LUFC442) April 10, 2018 please log in to view this image Jack Timms@jacktimms92 Ekuban doesn't have a clue what he's doing #LUFC please log in to view this image Jack Forster@JackForster92 I could genuinely finish better than Ekuban.... #lufc Alex Neil rubbished suggestions that his side's second goal should not have stood with Pontus Jansson down injured, arguing: "the ball must be really heavy because all he has done is head the ball." Asked if he could understand why Heckingbottom was unhappy that the goal stood, Neil reasoned: "I understand that completely but see having looked at it back, the ball must be really, really heavy because all he has done is headed the ball. "I think that tells you everything about that sort of situation. "Nobody has made any contact or connection with him and I am sure Paul has watched it back as well. "His defender headers the ball and then has a wee look and thinks 'we are under a bit of pressure' and falls down in the middle of the box. "In my opinion, the referee rightly played the game on."
Morning all Champagne corks popped in the 2020 house last night, relegation now avoided and you can’t have a more successful season than that Can’t wait for the exciting signings Orta is working on, 5 year contracts this time please. Next season already feels good, just need to lose a handful of trouble makers in the team like Pablo, Pontus Sais etc
Morning all... I noticed Pontus getting a bit of backlash from fans on the FB group for laying on the floor (uninjured) as they scored their second. In regards to Ekuban it’s same story different player, I dont know what the fans expect or want considering what we have up front? Lasogga was being slaughtered for his poor showing, Grot gets grief, Roofe isn’t good enough and this season neither is Ekuban. I think PH is way out of his depth but when you replace Wood with Ekuban, Grott and Lasogga it’s a pretty poor trio to select from and someone has to play. Lasogga who never creates his own chance, needs the ball to feet 10 yards out but hasn’t the pace or football brain to create or find the space or Ekuban that creates chances with his pace and movement but can’t finish. My biggest concern is why PH insists on 4-4-2 and the only way we can play it is with numerous players out of position. LB and Anita, we don’t need to know how he is at LB he can’t play it. Hernandez wide left, he cuts in, leaves the LB exposed and leaves too much space down the left. Not his fault, he just isn’t a number 11 and never will be, it would have been far better playing Dallas wide left, Pablo in the middle and blood an U23 at RB We didn’t learn a single lesson from that team last night that we didn’t already know.
Good morning all, just back from my holiday, great to see the sun in spain.Just a shame it's not shining on Leeds at the moment.I am afraid PH just confirmed to me what i already knew, that what a poor manager he actually is,talk about passing the buck, blaming the officials like that, what he needs to come to terms with is, that he is a pi** poor manager in charge of a pi** poor team,i really fear for next season, sorry can't be more positive, but i am sure our better players will be gone next season (and we don't have many of them) more worryingly i don't see any young ones, stepping up to the plate who will be good enough for a promotion push next season. We need a descent manager, and an owner who needs to say it's time to invest in experience and put his hands in his pockets, cause the current model/plan just aint working.and if were not careful league one awaits.
Morning all Is there anything left to be said that has not been said before. It's all so boring now, at least if we could just win one game we could have a debate how on earth we managed it. Oh and by the way Millwall are a load of Sh-t
It's hard to have hope when you have ****tards spouting ill-informed bullshit opinions like that and who can't even spell idle; (but thankfully as a Leeds fan I've learned to cope with life despite having very little hope)
yes mukka without a doubt best manager outside the prem by a country mile and better than most of them in it
