perfect1.jpg Good Morning. It's Christmas Eve. On behalf of everyone on Not606, we wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas

Adams is now No1 target, but only if Nketiah leaves!

As reported yesterday Leeds have been in contact with Southampton about the availability of Che Adams, and social media has gone wild with positivity about the former Birmingham man.

Adams has leapfrogged Liverpool's wonder kid Rhian Brewster in Bielsa's wish list. However, the 23yo will only become a target if Nketiah returns to Arsenal.

Adams is yet to make a dent on his Premiership foal scoring record after joining the Saints in the Summer for 15m.

With Clarke returning to Spurs in a week, the news that Leeds will only strengthen their forward line if Nketiah returns to the Emirates must fill many with despair.

Given the option, would you rather keep Nketiah, or bring in Adams and bin the Gunner?

    Hernandez out for a month

During Bielsa's pre match pres conference ahead of the Boxing Day clash against Preston, Bielsa revealed that Hernandez will be out of action for a month, but Shackleton and Roberts have returned from injury, albeit they have to regain their fitness. It was further revealed that Alioski and Dallas will start in midfield.

How much will Leeds miss their talisman?

At least Lilywhites Manager Alex Neil can now have Christmas off.

Realistically, how many players do Leeds need to sign in January to maintain their top two status?

Do you feel that Leeds could collapse if transfers aren't put into place in January?

Is it as much a psychological test, as it is a physical one.

Is this Leeds last chance for promotion for a while?

How many points will Leeds get from their next four games?

    They are:

    Home v Preston

    Away v Birmingham

    Away v West Brom

    Home v Sheffield Wednesday

Morning all. Pablo is and will be a huge loss. Only ever expected about a half season from him and would be happy enough if he manages a dozen games in second half of season. Squad won’t be strengthened in January, at best it will remain paper thin so where we finish is anyone’s guess. We need to hope all the other club owners are as tight or skint as ours. Merry Xmas

For Christmas I'd like a 6ft 4" centre half as we are still light. Regardless of Nketiah situation, I'd like another option up front. Che Adams was stand out last season and can say up front on his own. It would be a great signing.

I'd really like the injuries to back off a bit. I'd love Forshaw back in midfield with Klich and Phillips. Roberts is a key player as he can play up top, on the wing, or as a 10. He causes problems. Pablo is Pablo, his age dictates that he will be in and out of the team with injuries.

    We'll beat Preston!
    Draw at Birmingham!
    Lose at West Brom!
    Win against Sheffield Wednesday.!
    7 points out of 12.

Happy Christmas guys. Enjoyed my first few months around the place.

    Morning all...

In regards to January... How much is Nketiah worth? He can’t get ahead of Bamford so can anyone see us signing a new striker and the key word is “IF” Nketiah leaves which means we’re not looking for an Alternative to Bamford, just a reserve replacement.

Bielsa likes Ayling at RB and Dallas LB sometimes Alioski and with Shackleton and Roberts returning, Forshaw and even Pablo back in a month who are we looking to replace with a January signing?

Berardi is our back-up CB if we need another Bielsa prefers shifting Ayling over, I believe anyone expecting a starting 11 type player is in for a massive shock.

If we signed anyone, they’d not be considered up to standard and the fitness level Bielsa requires for at least a month. We slipped up against Cardiff and Fulham with pretty much our main starting 13, Bielsa isn’t going to replace any of them with better.

I have to agree, limited outlay if any and anyone coming in likely to be unproven in the Championship - lad from Aberdeen type, cheapish with potential. <ok>

Oh, and 10 points out of 12 - we’ll drop 2 at West Brom but be top by then. <cheers>

Adams is yet to make a dent on his Premiership foal scoring record after joining the Saints in the Summer for 15m.

That's because he is a championship striker. Can't see us making such a signing although a loan deal is possible if the Saints wish to offload him

    Nketiah or Adams

Adams as he would fit our system if Bamford is unavailable or requires a rest

How much will Leeds miss their talisman Pablo?

We always miss our most creative source. Hernandez has been instrumental in both our unbeaten runs this & last season. In 2018/19 we only acquired 10 points from 8 games without his services.

Realistically, how many players do Leeds need to sign in January to maintain their top two status?

One quality first-teamer plus a CB & striker as two back-up signings

Do you feel that Leeds could collapse if transfers aren't put into place in January?

Very likely if we lose a combination of Kiko, Phillips White or Bamford with Pablo missing too!

Is it as much a psychological test, as it is a physical one.

    Yes

Is this Leeds last chance for promotion for a while?

I believe it would be :(

How many points will Leeds get from their next four games?

Hopefully a minimum of eight points
