Good Morning Everyone Marcelo Bielsa has revealed that Kemar Roofe will be out of action, not only tonight, but for the next three weeks. Let's hope we have now had our injury quota, at least until after Christmas! Phil Hay spotted Alan Smith at Thorp Arch yesterday watching the 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest. The rumour is, the former Whites striker may be joining the coaching staff. Should Smith return to ER, I wonder what kind of reception he'd get for the Elland Road faithfull? Why the hostility? Leeds needed the money! As I recall Smith even gave Leeds the 1m signing on fee. I don't know many players that would do that! I don't know if you already knew this, but former White Richard Cresswell is Leeds academy of coaching. Also Richard's son Charlie plays for the academy! Tonight's game v Hull - surely this is a must win?
Morning all... In regards to Roofe that is a set back, from possible appearance tonight to another three weeks, the International break can’t come soon enough. Regarding Smith the minute any ex Leeds player is spotted at the stadium or anywhere near it the press put 2+2 together and make up a story. If Bielsa wants him I hope he signs, otherwise no, not because he left to wear red, simply because I only want players and staff signing who Bielsa wants, personally I don’t believe he wants Smith myself. Talking of hostility, why do Hull City fans hate Leeds United with such passion? They seem to despise us more than any other Yorkshire club, I looked in on their match day thread, I didn’t sense banter, just hatred.
I don't understand the mentality of those that take a blanket approach and apply hatred as a default setting. My brother in law is a staunch Millwall fan but I don't hate him, far from it. I bet there are even manure fans out there that you could have a beer with, not that many I grant you. The one thing I do hate is hatred.
It's probably because they mean so little to us, that we consider them too irrelevant to hate, that makes them hate us even more
Good morning all That is a setback with roofe,i was hoping his return was imminent.Going to be another evening where were gonna make lot's of chances, just hope this time someones gonna be able to stick a couple or more in the back of the net,Hull are struggling at the moment, could have caught them at the right time, however I was surprised our stats only show one victory in our last five outings,it needs someone whether it be Roberts or Alioski to step up & take responsibility up front tonight,If they do,i can see a comfortable win tonight.
Morning all. Ok I'll say it - I have friends that support Man Ure, but then again I do live in Kent. Well, when I say friends.......
Good morning Matt & everyone Roofe will only miss the Hull & Brentford games as revealed last week, one of those three weeks includes the international break
Good morning Leon I heard last week Hernandez would be out for those two along with Berardi but Roofe was set for a return or possible one tonight, think it was Sky that reported it on Friday
Morning all....my son in law is a MU fan for his sins but is an ok bloke. He's been trying to get his son to support them as well. He's lost that one though, my grandson has been to 2 games with me & now, is Leeds mad.
Because a section of our fans are ignorant & their hatred for Man U clouded a rational mindset. Smith who had a choice of Man U or Middlesbro' chose to go to Old Trafford which as a footballer if you have any ambition was the right choice for him. Smith didn't want to leave his hometown club, the person to blame for our demise & all the enforced outgoings was Peter Ridsdale.
Yes saw that, horrible bad luck. Not all tumours are malignant btw but if he’s the little lad in the news before, I guess that’s too much to hope for.
Youlot think you got problems My son in law and granddaughter support Huddersfield town Never mind they could be coming down and us going up PLEASE
