Good Morning Everyone Izzy Brown did not take part in Leeds 3-1 win at Bramall lane, nor was he on the bench! Has he had a recurrence of his injury - No! The England U21 will be playing for the U23's on Friday against Newcastle! During the U23's game against Sheffield Utd, Leeds were awarded a penalty, which Roberts calmly tucked away. Is the curse finally lifted? Bielsa revealed at the Reading presser that Leeds will be without Jansson, but Peacock Farrell is fit to start if selected. Leeds United will rival Nottingham Forest, Derby County and Norwich City in a bid to sign Leyton Orient striker Macauley Bonne, who has scored 16 goals so far this season.
Morning all Transfer stories seem to have dried up regarding top strikers like Ponce, Prijavic and Llorent which could be good news, but seems more stories about kids coming in like the one we are getting next week for a 7 day trial. Bonne is on a list of kids with potential but we already have plenty of those: Roberts was great again yesterday for the U23s scoring 2 Stevens has sublime skills and unlucky not be top scorer for the U23s but top on assists Clarke Edmondson Dalby Davies Halme Strujik Kun On top of that we had Phil Hay in a twitter discussion yesterday saying the club were probably going to bring Grot back. Anyone see the video I posted yesterday on the Loan Watch thread. He plays Bielsaball.... Today is the 409th day since we had a penalty which means 56 games ago. Must be our turn today surely
Morning all. Hope we stuff reading. BPF to start surely? Can't wait to see Brown starting for the first team soon! Klitch is due a goal, I reckon it will be tonight.
Good Afternoon to Matt and co from a chilly Bardsey Izzie seems to be almost there but Pontus is a worry Readings form of late has been poor but they have never lost b y more than 2 goals so lets not kid ourselves this will not be easy Still think we need a winger a back up CB and a right back not sure we need a striker if Bamford is about ready but strenthen we must Just about got the house back to normal after the break in
His whole career in Holland has seen him play from out wide to in and all his goals have come from there. Christianson and Heckythump played him as a lone striker leaving him exposed. Look at the video I posted and you tell me wakey. Oh and he was played out wide as part of a front 3 with the U23s last season before he went out on loan, 2 games 3 goals so at least Corberan could see him for what he was? Would Jack Clarke have taken the abuse Grot got from certain sections of the fans, I dont think so but both same age...
yeah i can see your point and all because clarke is seen as one of ours.point well made doc and got to agree.
That'll tighten them - just as long as the wind stays down, don't want it giving Reading a better chance than they'd have otherwise.
