Good Morning Everyone Pontus Jansson is recovering from injury quicker than first thought, and could retain his place against Millwall. The 28 yo limped through the latter stages of the local derby against the Blades a fortnight ago, and was subsequently ruled out for three weeks. How much of a difference would it if the Swede can play? Still on the injury front, Kemar Roofe has posted an update on his Instagram saying 'Not long to go now!' The 26yo hitman remains the Whites leading scorer on 15 goals in all competitions Bailey Peacock Farrell showed some heroics this week ensuring Northern Ireland picked up two wins in their opening Euro 2020 qualifiers. The 21yo finally has his chance to prove his worth to Bielsa on Satutday as Casilla serves a one match ban having been sent off against the Blades. How long will Peacock Farrell be happy playing second fiddle to Casilla? What kind of transfer fee would tempt you to sell the Northern Ireland International? Away from Elland Road, Cardiff are refusing to stump up the 15m transfer fee for Emiliano Sala. The Bluebirds are claiming the transfer was not legally binding. Cardiff will tell world football's governing body Fifa that Nantes' conditions for completion of the deal were not fulfilled and Sala was not registered as a Premier League player.
Morning Elland and all. Not surprised if Jansson is back. He’s made of tougher stuff than most footballers. How many others would’ve limped on in the blades game? Very few. As for bpf, he should be happy to play second fiddle. He won’t be a no1 at a bigger club than Leeds. He may if he drops a division but that wouldn’t earn us much
Morning all Elland the big news you missed is that the U23s have won the league title with 3 games to spare. They went down to Colchester last night and comfortably beat them 0-2 with both goals coming from Edmondson who has scored 15 for the team this season. Jordan Stevens was outstanding and created the first and jack Clarke came on in the 2nd half and created the 2nd. Izzy Brown was again outstanding at times and unplayable and should have scored his 9th goal of the season. He played the full 90 minutes and wonder if Bielsa has seen enough to leave him out of the first team or actually give him a game? He can look lethargic but one eye catching piece of skill was how he chased back into his own box, took the ball off one of their attackers and within 3 seconds had driven through their midfield and right into their box creating yet another chance. he's quicker than he looks, he's powerful, he's skillful but is he a Bielsa player Great news about Pontus and Forshaw could also be back this weekend too. Gary Lineker mentioned Jack Clarke last night again when talking about the talent available to Southgate this Summer
once a bluebird always a bluebird eh? Disgraceful behavior from Cardiff. Sala would still be alive if they hadnt agreed the deal already
Morning all.. Congratulations to the U23s the youth production line has got its wheels back. IF we get promoted BPF will more than likely drop to third in the pecking order as I can see us signing another keeper, possibly sending BPF out on loan. In regards to Pontus I love him but I’ve read a few social media articles where many fans question the seriousness of his injury, suggesting he likes to play the role of the hero fighting through the pain barrier and he often comes back ahead of schedule. If his knee was just bruising is it any wonder he will be back in time for Millwall? Either way good news it obviously isn’t serious and the sooner Roofe is back the better too.
Looking at the academy now compared to 18 months ago when we were bottom of the U23 league, we now see the work that Victor Orta has done come to fruition. Money has been spent bringing in some of the best kids around, so Radz must also take applause too as this has guaranteed to save us money going forward as can be seen with U23 players in the first team now. It also guarantees a revenue stream for some who are surplus to requirements at some stage and allows us to attract top kids in the future. Orta has brought in these academy players: Adrian Balboa - Barcelona -who is on loan in Spain and maybe wont make it Mateusz Bogusz - Poland -17yo wonderkid Sam Dalby - Leytonstone - out on loan at Morcambe since Xmas, great talent. Leif Davies - Newcastle - Now in the first team squad Hugo Diaz - La Corunia - Showing his talent as a CB schemer in the U23s Jay Roy Grot - Holland - Out on loan and not sure he'll be back after we trashed him Aapo Halme - Finland - prodigious talent with a huge future now in the first team squad Yosuko Idaguchi - Japan - back in full training in Germany on loan after bad injury Alex Machuca - Barcelona - out on loan but not sure he'll be pulling up trees Kamil Miazek - Poland - talented keeper who has a bright future Oriol Rey - Barcelona - young talent who runs midfield and big future. Out on loan but will be back Jordan Stevens - Gloucester - Unplayable at times and super talented, may even make the first team this season Pascal Struijk - Ajax - A solid gifted young CB who is now shining in the U23s Kun Temenuzhon - Bulgaria - a unit up front who scores goals and bullies defenders. Niklaus Haugland - Norway - 17yo Wonderkid who scores for fun Those in bold font are guaranteed to be big stars Oh and by the way these kids play again at Burnley on Friday in the quarter finals of the premier league Cup
Pontus Millwall is definitely the type of game we require Pontus as they will bombard us every time from a set-piece or a throw-in. Expect the ball to be in the air for much of the time when they are in our half. Just wish Casilla was available as at least he is a keep that can catch a ball. Kemar Roofe Roofe gives us another goal-scoring option upfront as oppose to just relying on Bamford Bailey Peacock Farrell A club always needs a decent back-up keeper, BPF is still learning his trade, his time will eventually come Emiliano Sala Very sad circumstances, a accident that should never had happened by all accounts The deal has turned out very messy
Southend sack Chris Powell who has been sacked countless times before, but not because hes black ffs, its down to crap results just like white managers. The Sala fiasco was done to death on here a few weeks ago when I first raised it. If you remember we had the well known Cardiff WUM who also odd jobs on this site arguing that it is a war between insurance companies and nothing to do with Cardiff FC. As I said before its Sala's wife and kids I feel for as she should have been weighed in with an immediate £200k until final settlement done
good morning to matt and co from a chilly sunny Bardsey So pleased for the under 23 lets hope the first team match the,m Sala funny enough my wifes c osin surname is Sala but it comes from Italy I said weeks ago that this will run on and on when you are talking big money everyone will want a slice McKay has said he will not be seeking his commission. considering his son was responsible for booking the flight I would suggest they may sue him for providing a pilot who was not qualified to fly fare paying passengers and a dodgy aircraft Lets hope we can have a amicable settlement for his family Great news about Pontus but PL clubs are looking at Daniel James yes we were stupid not to buy him

Can’t see a single moronic post on this thread, if you’re referring to the political thread, don’t come in and throw stones
I find its best to not even peek into the political thread as my views have been called racist in the past, so I leave it alone on here
I have noted that some poster likes to flounce in and out when it suits them so they can make a big entrance at some future date only to flounce out again. That's my take on it anyway.
