Good Morning Everyone Berardi limped off with what appeared to be a muscle strain on his comeback from a torn hamstring that has seen him sidelined since October. The utility player lasted 44 minutes of the Under 23's game v Southampton. Talking about the Southampton U23's game last night, just under 3000 fans turned up at Tadcaster's ground to watch the topsy turvy match. Leeds won the encounter 3-2 with goals from Halme, Stevens and Edmonson, as Leeds came from 2-1 behind mid way through the second half. 20yo centre back Aapo Halme was absolutely outstanding in the centre of defence, and with Jansson suspended for the trip to Rotherham at the weekend, I would not have any hesitation to play the 6ft 4' giant. Izzy Brown completed another 45 minutes on his comeback trial. Phillips is available following his three match ban. Should he come straight back in to the team, ands if so, at who's expense?
Morning all... I believe Phillips will partner Cooper at the back, I’d actually like to see Phillips replace Klich and Halme replace the suspended Pontus. Berardi breaking down again is a shame, he has been great for the club but is it time to concede that his playing days are drawing to an end? If we remain in this division will he remain injury free for 30+ games, if we get promoted he’d scare me a little facing PL strikers, at the end of the season I feel it is time to replace him.
Halme should surely start but don't think he will. I'd put Phillips back to where he's been doing well all season, Forshaw furthur forward in place of Klich, who I'd probably try at 10, Pablo and Clarke wide and put Harrison on the M62 back to Manchester.
Cardiff's new signing Emiliano Sala, feared dead after the plane he was travelling to Cardiff on crashed somewhere in the Channel Islands.
WTAF hope he's ok Morning all Firstly it was Hugo Diaz not Stevens who scored last night, Stevens crossed and Halme pushed it to Diaz who scored his first goal for the club. Another promising defender from Spain on the books. With regard to Berardi I saw some tweets last night from fans who were there and one guy was pictured with Berardi and he he said he was fine, it got tight thats all but was hoping to be ok for Rotherham. Obviously nothing official yet but made me feel better. Anyone seen the article about how Orta convinced Kiko to come and join the project. Orta comes out of it brilliantly as Kiko said he just flew over to talk to me again and he went through what Bielsa wanted him to do and how he would fit ...... More or less signed straight away. Phillips should come straight back as quarter back again and Halme should replace Pontus with Pablo out wide right again, Clarke starting on the left and Klich as No10 to see if that'll work
Looks like that way guys - so distressing to hear these update reports this morning. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...ws/emiliano-sala-plane-crash-cardiff-15711895
Good Morning to Matt and co from a dull Bardsey First of all I hope they find Sala safe and well though with his old club cancelling there net match I fear the worst Doc how we doing on the transfer front when will we sign Daniel? Will Izzie be on the bench at Rotherham Why did n't we appeal against Pontus second yellow card? It would appear thanOliviears is about to sign for Reading which is a pity Finally last night I found myself out on the kitchen floor no I hadn't had that manyI managed to crawl to the stairs in the hall but couldn't get up so Moe had to call the neighbours who kindly managed to get m e onto the second step and enabled me to stand I felt such a fool.Where was my determination when I needed it!
I can't stand the man signed for £!M personally to a poor Spanish club played once then announce allegedly he had retired this sums in up no morals whatsoever
Firstly Swansea are trying to hike the price for the kid and saying things like 'well if jack Clarkes worth £5m so is young Dan James. The club were hoping to get this done early in the week and have him available for Rotherham, I fear if it doesn't happen this week we forget him. Izzie is fit but not expecting him for Rotherham although Bielsa may stick him on the bench? You sound a bit like WJ crawling about on hands and knees Mike, leave the glue sniffing and whisky to younger blokes
Marcelo Bielsa met FA officials yesterday to discuss the Leeds United spying controversy. Eleven Championship clubs have written to the EFL asking for “full disclosure” after the Leeds head coach told a staff member to watch a Derby County training session before their match on January 11. The FA and EFL have launched separate inquiries. The EFL asked the Championship leaders for a written statement but The Times has learnt that FA officials asked to see Bielsa in person.
Listened but why on earth was he talking about Lampard playing 3 games but the bloke was great about him hitting Ulrica he soon moved on
Forest wrote to the FA about us and oh by the way FA/EFL how the hell did this crook get passed your fit and proper rules, was it a brown envelope?
I know that these are punts but I’d rather be signing young players hungry for success than 38 year old mate of the manager bumping up his pension pot.
Awful news, again another dose of how unimportant football results are at times like this, he leaves his house and unbeknown to his family it was the last time they’d see him.
