According to their official Twitter account “It is correct that we are dealing with a return for Felix Wiedwald, but we cannot announce anything as fixed yet and have to be patient.”

A transfer could take place this week (as long as nobody drops the ball, are you listening Felix!!!)

If we are to see a new dawn for Leeds Utd (and I know I'm jumping the gun) but is Elland Road big enough?

Leeds are the third biggest city in the Country, and the only major city not to boast at least two recognised football clubs!

If Radrizzani is to loosen the purse strings and bring success back to Elland Road, the crowds will surely follow!





As reported yesterday, it looks increasingly likely that Leeds will sign Spurs central defender Juan Foyth to Elland Road on a season long loan.

Bielsa is believed to have a strong relationship with Spurs boss Pochettino.

Foyth joined Spurs last Summer for 12m.

It looks likely that we won't need Barley then! That would be 3.5m saved!





Staying on the theme of influential friends, Leeds are firm favourites to land Citeh's highly rated goal keeper Angus Gunn, again on a season long loan, thanks again to Bielsa's friendship, this time with Pep Guardiola.

Watching the game last night I thought we should have had 2 penalties why weren't t he 2 incidents relayed to VAR Kane was pushed and dragged to the ground and they got away with it How come

Morning all. The problem is if we sign Gunn on loan and he is the first choice goalie, we finish up with him going back to City and we have a young goalkeeper who wants a transfer.

Spurs loanee sounds fantastic, but they dont usually work out do they? Anyone know anything about him?

I’m usually against loans but a season long loan for Gunn and Foyth (if he is any good) would save a lot of money for some decent signings.

I’m with a few others, if we do have £20m to spend I’d rather us sign three top drawer players and blow the rest on loan fees. I don’t want to see another 7-8 players costing £2m each and they turn out to be another Sacko, Anita, Grot, Lasogga, O’Kane or even bang average Dallas type players.

I’ve been watching a few video clips of Klitch, if Bielsa has been doing the same I’ve a strong feeling we might be seeing him again next season.

Reading up on Foyth he started his career as an attacking midfield player, knowing Bielsa wants players who are quick going forward and are comfortable with ball at feet I’d imagine Foyth might be a genuine target.

Ahh, but it's the speculation that makes it.

 

Wolves just signed a new keeper so don’t know if that’s cooled their interest in bpf. The duke sums up the issue re Gunn/bpf nicely. The main problem would likely be Gunn having must play clauses, so not exactly fair competition.

 

For all our loan deals don’t often work out... udders got promoted off the back of some shrewd loan signings. I’ve no beef if the players are far enough along their development curve to add real and immediate value to the team. Prefer them where there’s an option or a realistic chance to buy them if all goes well.
