    Good Morning Everyone

Bamford will spearhead our front line against Derby County tomorrow in the second leg of the play off semi finals!

Does Bamford come in for some unfair criticism?

Given the option to swap Bamford with either Nugent, Assombalonga, Rhodes, Afobe or Ince - would you?

Villa forward Jack Grealish will face no action from the FA following Saturday’s fixture.

The penalty incident was referred to an independent panel, and it was deemed not to be an act of simulation!

Given the option to either play West Brom or Villa should Leeds reach the final, who would you rather play, and why?

Wednesday is a big chance for Bamford to shine and send a message all around.

Not bothered who we play but Villa would be tasty.

Not surprised at the FA decision, why should we be.... they are bent bastards the lot of them.

Morning all. Nice to be back home.

Bamford will do the biz, make no mistake. He may not be Billy Whiz or a battering ram, but Bielsa doesn't shell out that kind of money for nothing, and I'll take his assessment over everyone else's.

Villa or Baggies? Don't really care who loses to us. :)

Assombalonga swapped for Bamford for me, powerful, can do everything Bamford does but with more effort and much stronger.

I want West Brom in the final (if we get there), gayle would be banned and it would be dream to see the cheating villa b4stards miss out.

Ive no preference for the final, just want to get there. Thoughts of Bamford playing worries me. Our lack of firepower has been our achilles heel and for the modt part I believe were better with Roofe playing. All ifs and buts now and we may just get on with it

Wasn't jumping for joy when we signed Bamford, he's not a bad player, just very inconsistent. Roofe suits our style better but like with Bolton away, there are games that Roofe couldn't get into but were crying out for a Bamford, ideally, Roofe stayed fit and Bamford came on in certain games. He could well be up for tomorrow, as he feels he has something to prove because of the Villa embarrassment. Non of the one's mentioned are any better imo.

Never expected anything other than that decision, they failed to penalise Lawrence , so Grealish was going to get away with it too, they really don't help the game with these decisions, encourages the cheats in the game to continue with their antics.

As West Brom would be without Gayle, I'd rather face them, the big mistake Moore made at ER was to put him out wide to appease his forwards, which basically meant they were playing with 10 men. Can't see them over turning the result unfortunately. Would be more satisfying beating Villa in the final though

    Good morning all
Our fawards are not the best we know that, but as long as the defence/midfield play like they can,eg at Derby when their so called prolific fawards never had a sniff of goal, then we will be ok,as all it takes is one out of ten clinical finishes by Bamford/Roofe and were their.
I think i would rather face Villa atm in the finale, for some reason i have a bad feeling about WBA,with or without Gayle.

Can this be confirmed,as Various posts have given different answers,is it two yellows in a game for a one match ban,or a straight red would be two,i think it was Doc who mentioned this.

It has been confirmed. Cant find the links but there were numerous thread on twitter and elsewhere confirming it. Dont think it will matter though as I expect Villa to go through. Theyd be a tough prospect given they have the experience of last years play off final and will be hurting from that

    Morning all :emoticon-0148-yes:

I wouldn't swap Bamford for any of the named strikers listed. Expecting pat to show us and everyone what he can do. He actually has a decent minutes played per goal ratio but has missed most of the season. I enjoyed the comment from Cooper yesterday who said we all know what pat can do and he has a confidence level unlike most players......

If we win tomoz I dont care who we play as we have beaten them all this season. In fact it would be criminal if anyone else went up

POSTED THIS LAST WEEK MATE, TAKEN FROM A MIDLANDS NEWSPAPER.

Dwight Gayle will not be available for the play-off final at Wembley if Albion get there, because he will be banned for two games following today's red card.
Gayle was shown a controversial red card for two bookable offences by referee Graham Scott in Albion's 2-1 defeat to Villa, and that carries an automatic one-game ban.

But his suspension has been extended to two games by the FA because an earlier ban for deceiving an official adds another game on to this suspension.

It means Gayle's season is over, regardless of whether the Baggies overturn the one-goal deficit at The Hawthorns on Tuesday night.

Albion cannot appeal the red card because it was for two bookable offences and not a straight red.

Gayle was shown a yellow card for time-wasting before another one two minutes from the end for a challenge on Jed Steer.

Caretaker boss Jimmy Shan disagreed with both bookings.

"To my mind, every time the ball went out he had an intent of walking towards to the ball," said Shan.

"It's a new one on me if you have to jog andsprint to restart every time the ball goes out.

So Bolton will start next season in L1 with a 12 points deduction. Why not 15 points? Or is that a punishment especially reserved for Leeds United?
