Good Morning. It's Thursday 30th January, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road Harrison set to return to Leeds It's becoming increasingly likely that Everton are going to terminate the loan spell of Jack Harrison, meaning a returns to Elland Road could be imminent, whether Leeds like it or not! The 28yo turncoat, like many others took full advantage of the clauses in his contract, to abandon the Whites in their hour of need. He's been with the Toffee's for 18 months now, but has endured a difficult season on the blue side of Merseyside. Harrison is said to be 'shot of confidence'. He hasn't scored for almost a year, and is yet to make a worthwhile contribute this season in 1000 minutes of game time. Rules state that if he were to return to Leeds, Daniel Farke must integrate him back into the first team squad, which could cause friction and volatility within the ranks. I suppose the club could re-introduce him as a 'new player, just as they did with Adam forshaw. please log in to view this image Frankfurt want to renegotiate Kristensen deal Eintracht Frankfurt are to renege on a €15m deal for Danish International wing-back Rasmus Kristensen, and instead, want to strike up a deal at a significantly lower price. Despite his impressive campaign thus far, 'the Eagles' are having second thoughts about triggering Kristensen's activation clause. He's currently fourth in Dino Toppmöller's roster (four places above former Elland Road favourite Robin Roch), and has played a massive part in helping lift his side into third place in the Bundesliga. According to media outlet Bild, Frankfurt are hoping to secure his services for a figure 'below €10m', raising questions about Leeds United's resolve. They are seen by many as being a soft touch, especially taking into account the indiscretions in many of the top players contracts, which still haunt the club today! please log in to view this image
Harrison can train on his own if he comes back. He shouldn't be welcomed in to the changing room. Kristensen is having the season of his life. If Frankfurt won't spend money on him then leave him there on loan and see if anyone bites this summer. His form has been excellent and he looks one of the best full backs/wing backs in the Bundesliga. Someone will outbid Frankfurt if his form continues. Sonny Perkins has moved to Leyton Orient for a small fee. Leeds have included a big sell on clause for any future sale. He's had a good season for them after a slow start.
Morning all Nobody wants Jack back, we don’t want dressing room unrest either. He’s never going to get selected ahead of Ramazani or Solomon. If we have to say he’s available for selection fine, just don’t pick him. Kristensen we should hold out for the original fee or as near to as we can get
Let jacko be our rashford.....in fact come out with a similar statement that ruby boy did at o/t....jack, I'd rather play his mother! Two whiners together ....as for the viking well we should show some mettle and tell the hot doggers to pay the price or
Harrison coming back would be yet another astronomical wage for us to pay on top of sick notes surely scuppering any slim chances of strengthening the squad. Maybe we’ll just present him free to Everton
Coming from the Newcastle end ower here in Geordieland. Matt Targett virtually done Im not in the know or know anything more than any of you buts its rhe word over here.
Can't see Targett coming. We have Firpo,Byram and Schmidt at left back. Wober can cover if fit too. A disaster of a transfer that one.
Were a gas lot. We criticise every other teams signings including forest a couple of years ago but heap praise on our board for doing nothing as our squad cannot be improved upon Still have a niggling feeling there must be a couple who'd make a difference. Prime example Schmeichels performance against villa last night. Some stunning saves and he cost Celtic nothing
