Good Morning. It's Thursday 14th September, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road Radrizzani criticised for attack on Kinnear Andrea Radrizzani has been widely for attacking Angus Kinnear on social media following his (Kinnear's) recent interview on 'The Square Ball'. The 49yo Italian businessman is angry with his former right hand man for criticising his former regime, and believes Kinnear should have taken responsibility for the contracts with exit clauses, as that's what he was paid to do. He went on to insinuate that he wasn't aware of such clauses. Radrizzani has a habit of landing himself in trouble, when he takes to social media. Following his rant, he deleted his twitter account. "My good friend (Kinnear) should have taken good responsibility for the contracts with exit clauses, which I have never read as for many others contracts and company," "That’s why management is paid for! “I don't think AK, who made millions from working with me, can judge how much money I have or can invest in football. Secondly, just to clarify, even if I wanted I couldn't sell (the club) anytime before as I had to respect the 49ers' timing and process…” Former Leeds shot stopper Paul Robinson believes Radrizzani shouldn't be airing his dirty laundry in public, and made the following statement with MOT Leeds news. "It’s disappointing that Radrizzani feels the need to air that type of thoughts and feelings on social media,” “I don’t buy into that. There were flaws with the football club and the way that he ran the football club and I don’t think that you can aim shots like that." “Kinnear, I think he’s been an outstanding asset to the football club, the business side of things has been absolutely run perfectly in recent times. You look at Radrizzani, you look at the people around him, you look at Victor Orta, for example. “When Kinnear was telling Radrizzani one thing, maybe Orta was in the other ear telling him something else and he may listen to the wrong person too often, which cost him a lot of money and transfer fees and players that didn’t succeed.” please log in to view this image His future looks White Dubbed surplus to requirements on his first day back to pre-season training, Jamie Shackleton has undergone a 180 degree transformation at Elland Road. The 23yo spent last season at 'The Den', and it looks like the loan has paid off. He has come back fitter, stronger and in all round better shape, so much so, that he has played in four of Leeds opening matches his season, amassing 315 minutes of game time. He made his Whites debut back in August 2018, amassing 72 league appearances, but always struggled to hold down a first team slot, until now at least. It's still early days, but after catching Daniel Farke's eye in training, the versatile utility man has a chance to wipe the slate clean, and make a claim to his starting line up. His versatility could be invaluable to Daniel Farke's squad this season, with injuries, suspensions and fatigue all set to take it's toll over a long grueling campaign. So far this season, he has played at left back, right back, and right wing. Can Shackleton nail down a first team slot on a regular basis, and with less than a year remaining on his terms, should Leeds be wanting to tie him down now to new terms? please log in to view this image
I was wondering where this media backlash at Radz was coming from… which investigative journalist with deep inside knowledge of the club was about to provide thought provoking insight Then those two words Paul and Robinson appeared. Morning all.
All the want aways at present getting dogs abuse but that prick was the first in the Risdale era, tarting himself to anyone south of Watford to get away, then comes back 15 yrs later as though he's a Leeds legend.
Morning all For me Radz was a breath of fresh air after the last clowns, and under Bielsa I watched some of the best football I had seen in years. Radz did overstay his welcome which soured things, and thanks to leaving Orta with too much freedom, the start of this season with the new owners was more of a shambles than anything I had seen since GFH/Cellino and Bates. I understand Radz feeling the need to defend himself but its pointless, we all need someone to blame and he will be judged by what we remember most recently in our history The finger pointing has been done by all including fans, there is nothing to gain now continuing it, we have what seems a very good coach and some strong signings. Hopefully we will push forward and look promotion certs, we'll have unrest in January and again when the loans want to return but let's worry about that nearer the time Shackleton - it just shows what can happen when you have a player who suits a particular coach and what he wants from the team, he feels like a new signing.
I’d be mindful of offering a contract to Shackleton. We’ve done that with other players before, putting them on long contracts on the back of a few good performances only for their form to fall off a cliff leaving us stuck with them.
The backlash was invented by journos who never got the interview and what Radz said was true Kinnear was CEO and should have known what was in the contracts and was a party to every deal but just brushed it off and passed the blame to Radz. Radz was chairman and majority owner but was also overseeing the sale of his company 11Sports to DAZN. He was also trying to buy Salernitano back then so wasn’t present for everything. Yes he took his eye off the ball but Kinnear was CEO and Orta was DoF and alongside them was the 49ers, but seems Kinnear has escaped because he wasn’t questioned properly and now everyone wants to blame Radz. Robinson is a nob and a joke pundit, but hey ho
Sorry Wakey anyone can make up fake pictures but next time try and remember to add Macdonalds you numpty
