Good Morning Everyone There is bad news onthe keeper front. Newcastle Utd have told Leeds that they cannot consider letting Freddie Woodman out on loan due Karl Darlow being injured. Meanwhile Bielsa has shelved plans to sign Burnley keeper Tom Heaton. Where should Leeds look next? According the the YEP, clubs who have accumulated 2 points per game at this stage of the season have a 80 per cent strike rate in reaching the Premier League. Moreover, they have a near-perfect record of making the play-offs. Leeds of course are on 39 points after 20 games. Leeds have agreed to extend Mallik Wilks' loan spell at Doncaster Rovers. The 19-year-old's time at the League One is due to come to an end in the New Years but Rovers boss Grant McCann says an agreement is in place to renew the deal - and that Wilks is set to be offered a new contract at Elland Road.
Morning all.. On points stats, Sky TV did an importance of the results and points a team accumulates between Dec 1st and January 1st. Basically average 2.6 and you’re promoted 2.4 and it’s touch and go. We’ve got 7 games during that period, we won the first so 6 left to go but taking the 7 games we need 18 points for an average of 2.57 Basically we need 5 out of 6 wins, or 4 and 2 draws to put us on the fringe. Home to QPR and away to Bolton, they look doable, I don’t fancy away to Villa, then two home games Blackburn and Hull. JFH who was commenting pointed out the Christmas period looks good to Leeds as we haven’t got to travel far, he said it’s when you have to travel to London or further twice in a week that effects you as a player.
Only a 'near-perfect' record? So a team accumulated 92 points and didn't finish in the top 6? Who was that then?
Elland was referring to teams who have averaged 2 points per game after 20 matches not at the end if the season you dipstick. Hope it's ok to call you a dipstick to try and stimulate your creative juices.
Works with women as well,in and out like the SAS.Fast asleep before they know what's hapened, you don't have to talk to them.
I think he means 2 points for the matches over the Christmas games, December to January, teams maintaining a good start. Could be wrong but if I am and it’s pointed out I won’t flounce off in a hissy fit
It was an interesting statistic from Sky but ultimately pointless (pun intended). It's your points average after 46 games that matters not just for one month of the season.
Stop talking b*llocks and get back on the Political thread. Oh I see a potential problem with that...m'mmm
