    Good Morning Everyone

Pawel Cibicki has taken a swipe at former boss Paul Heckingbottom following confirmation of his departure to Malmo on a six month loan.

He told Fotboll Skanalen: "It's clear that it's weird, because it wasn't going well for the team and they do not win many matches.

"Nevertheless, he [Heckingbottom] does not change, he runs with the same player all the time. If you do not win any matches, you must be able to make changes.

"I'm not saying I'd have made the team much better but changes must happen if you do not win."
Was he given a fair chance?

Leeds want to sign a goal keeper this week!!!

The two most likely candidates are Stockdale and Blackman.

The Chelsea keeper seems more likely as negotiations have well and truly broken down with Birmingham.

Vurnon Anita is set to stay at Elland Road next season according to Phil Hay. The YEP journo has said the the versaitile 29 year old who is still recovering from injury is likely be stay at LS11 next season as a squad player.

Pre-season optimism is a very fragile thing where lufc is concerned. Why bother keeping Anita ?? I really thought with the profile that bielsabub has we would be in a much better position than we seem to be

Heckinbottom had a contract which read if he was sacked within 6 months he would receive 1m compensation so why would he change a losing side ?

    <cheers> morning btw

Good Morning To Matt and co from a warm very sunny Cote de B ardsey
I think the Hernandez transfer has gone long enough I hope he goes to Moscow they just love coloureds there. incidentally how many premiership clubs went after him to my mind NONE says it all really just one greedy B
Vydra too what is holding this one up but with Vidra we will still need a target man for him to work off
Anita has not someone that I have taken too so I was surprised he was still wanted
We have signed a 17 year old left back from Morecambe another great prospect for the future
Jor Bryant has been mentioned yes please best left back in our league

    Morning all.

Anita - We only played him at LB yet at Newcastle he played defensive midfield, the majority of the time at LB he was left exposed by Hernandez playing out of position. If Bielsa sees something in him as a defensive midfielder I can understand him being given another chance.

Neither Blackman or Stockdale excite me, okay they are both better than Felix and Lonergan but not as good as Gunn on loan or questionable if better than BPF yes Stockdale brings experience but is he worth the hefty wages, I would prefer us to put the wages to another signing. Read one report that we could be looking at Joe Hart, can’t see it myself.

Seems we are keeping Hernandez dangling whilst we haggle a price for Vydra, I don’t understand why we don’t give the extra million Derby are asking, when you reflect on player vs fee look at what we got for Ross and Wood.

Better still sign both and forget Stockdale, I’d like to know if Orta is going to Bielsa with players and Bielsa is turning them down, Blackman/Stockdale and Vydra alone will make us a better team but not top 6 surely we are after more than a keeper and one striker?

I could be wrong but from what I have read and Phil Hay on Twitter it seems we are £1m short on the asking price Derby want for Vydra, Hernandez is ready to sign, £3m signing on fee and a wage just under 40k a week, we can’t afford Hernandez and Vydra, Orta wanted Hernandez and Bielsa wants Vydra

I do understand why we are reluctant to take on two players with wages around £40k a week or £80k in total but Vydra and Hernandez or Murphy, Anita, Sacko, Cibicki, Ekuban and O’Kane?

Beilsa says we need to let 15 go now suppose on average they are on 10k a week that equates to a saving of 150k a week so why can't we have both Hernandez and Vydra. they will take up 70k the young lad from Chelsea is on 20k which leaves us with 40k for 2 players I presume that's why we want a loan for Stockdale wiih Brum paying halfand AR said we had 20m to pay out for transfers 11 for Vydra 3 for Hernandez and 6 for Bryan

Morning all. The way to create a good football team is to get a top class coach who is able to lead and leave it to him.

    Good morning Matt

Had the big girl's blouse left his handbag in the dressing room maybe we'd have seen more performances we witnessed at Loftus Road. A one trick pony who couldn't handle the championship

As for Anita physically he doesn't look strong or good enough. I would love to be proved wrong but I have serious reservations on this fella

The thing with Anita, is that whilst we didn't see it last year ( and Ristac has already commented on this), prior to joining us, on playing time alone Anita averaged playing 21 games a season, 4 of which were in the premiership and one in the championship, which would suggest that he had something going for him.

When he signed for us, I thought it was an excellent signing, however none of the form that he had showed previously in his previous 5 years of English football, was on display with ourselves, so the question is did our coaches get it wrong with Anita last year, or did he just get an easy ride with 5 years at Newcastle.

If Bielsa is looking to have him as a squad player at minimum, then that would suggest that Bielsa sees something useful in Anita, that unfortunately our lesser experienced coaches of last season were unable to take advantage of.

Morning ristac, haven't heard the Joe Hart rumour, though we're being linked to everyone else, so why not!!!

I agree what you're saying about Vydra. 1m is not going to make that much difference in the grand scheme of things, though when when were touting him about in the first instance, 10m was the asking price.

Morning Aski, well said. We never played him in his favoured position, but with Viera and Foreshaw hisd opportunities will be limited...
