    Good Morning Everyone

The third day of the transfer window saw Leeds complete their fifth signing of the week as highly rated Wolves winger Helder Costa signed on the dotted line committing himself not only to a season long loan but an additional four year contract!

Costa joins Ben White, Liam McCarron, Jack Clarke and Jack Harrison.

    Thoughts?

According to the Daily Mail Leeds have lined up Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Ivan Sunjic as a possible replacement for Kalvin Phillips, should our talisman move on this Summer.

The Under-21 Croatian holding midfielder has attracted many admirers last season.

The Russian outfit would be willing to let the starlet go for 3.5m.

Media sources are claiming that Leeds are monitoring a third Liverpool player!

Ovie Ejaria is a current England U21 playmaker. Last season, he appeared 14 times for the Royals.

I'm sure we'd much rather have Ryan Kent or Harry Wilson but Ejaria is certainly one for the future!

    Leeds are releasing Vernon Anita!

Panathinaikos are interested in his services!

Is it about time that the Dons statue was moved to a more prominent position at Elland Road?

    If so, where?

Morning all. The Costa deal is the one that impresses the most and is the most interesting. Clarke and Harrison, we’ve seen and know what they can do and cost nothing, in fact, generated money. One thing I’m confused with, some are saying we have to pay the 15m for him only if promoted while others reporting we’ve given him a four year contract. So if we’re not promoted, what happens to him?

To me, the Costa deal smacks very much of outside influence!

Morning all The important thing is that we still have Marcelo and his coaching staff. The first few games will show what progress has been made.I am looking forward to seeing more of the under 23s in the squad.

Good Morning to Matt Doc WJ FROM a sunny Bardsey
Well we got a really great signing in Costa but does it show that we will have a new owner sometime soon I think it does
Also very concerned about 3 unresolved players Pontus Phillips and Roofe
I think personally that we will replace Phillips with Sunjic but how do you possibly replace Pontus he has been amazing for us lets hope this issue will be resolved
I se that Nicky Ajose has joined Exeter on a free so good luck to the lad

Morning WCD, you're 100 percent right.

Shackleton showed he was as good as any of our midfielders last couple of games of the season.

Shame we didn't rest Hernandez once we knew we weren't going up via the auto's.

His tank was on empty last three games...

I would have loved to have seen Bogusz be given a bit of game time, same reason as above.

    Morning Mike

We've come a long way in the last 5 years.

5 years ago, we had no wingers. I remember how excited we were when we signed Jimmy Kebe and Cameron Stewert.

Come to think of it, 5 years ago we had no scouting network or any player analysis.

According to both clubs it's an obligation to buy regardless of promotion. So it's obviously to avoid FFP this year but does throw up a lot of questions in terms of future ownership. It's seems to smack of future takeover/investment - would hazard a guess that based on some investment now with a view to future takeover depending on promotion this year. (much like the 49ers deal).

Delighted to hear fat frank ****ed off to Chelsea.

Not really posting about that though. When the news report blathered on about what a great season he’d had and nearly got them promoted, I realised I’d had a complete black out of what happened in the playoffs. Could only remember we finished 3rd, and failed to win playoffs. Had NO recollection how we failed. Had to google it to remember - I don’t think it’s Alzheimer’s this time, I think I was so pissed off and depressed about yet again failing to get to the Prem I had just blocked the memory.

Anyway cautious good news on signings, but really really hope KP does not go.

Great point wc..regardless of how good he is, he made mistakes last season, he’s only human after all. I think he’ll have learned from them as he’s a clever guy and I look forward to the new stuff he’ll surely bring to the coming season

Morning all, was tempted to say Good morning but thought I would hang on for a bit.
Not long to go now before first ball is kicked in anger.
Wonder who will be the main competition this coming season.
So fat Frank goes to manage chelski, not that bothered but would like to see him fall flat on his face which is a definite possibility.:emoticon-0148-yes:

It's a mystery to me what he has done in management to merit being paid four million pounds a year.

He inherited a good Derby side and added three Premiership quality players on loan, therefor grabbing the last play off place on the last game of the season must make him some sort of Masiah!

Ever that, or his (fat) face fits!!!

    Morning All

I think the Lampard to Chelsea things is that they've run out of all other opitions as half the old senior are in the coaching staff anyway. He'll be jobless come November
