    Good Morning Everyone

Leeds are said to be leading contenders in the race to sign Leyton Orient striker Macauley Bonne. The rest of the pack includes Norwich City, Nottingham Forest and Derby County.

According to the Daily Mirror Leeds face competition from Celtic, Arsenal and Fulham as they weight up a move for Newcastle United goalkeeper Freddie Woodman.

The Sun made a massive gaffe yesterday by printing an incorrect scoreline for the match between Leeds United and Reading last night.

As we all know, Leeds dominated the game and rightly won the game 1-0, however the most circulated daily newspaper in the UK printed that the Royals won the game 2-1!

Does Baker have a future at Elland Road beyond Christmas?

The on loan Chelsea starlet started his first game of the season against lowly Reading on Tuesday evening, and his performance led him to be substituted at half time.

    Morning all <ok>

On the keeper front it's now understood that Tom Heaton is out of the picture and there are 2 keepers in the frame (January Rumor Thread above) Firstly Wes Foderingham from Rangers who was the regular keeper until Gerrard arrived with his own keeper. Foderingham is 27yo and before he went to Rangers in 2015 was a regular for Swindon Town where he was between the sticks for 150 games. This move has been spoken about for over a week. Secondly Freddie Woodman who has represented England at all age levels and is highly rated. If this story is true you have to ask why Newcastle would let him leave? The barcodes have Darlow, Dubravka and Elliot in front of Woodman but lets be frank who the hell is Dubravka? Whichever keeper arrives you can be sure that he is great with the ball at his feet and capable of Bielsaball, and that ruled out Stockdale in the Summer.

    Good morning Matt & all

    Whoops !

Does anyone still read this rag ?

Only if he gets his act together, personally I think he has blown his chance

I'll be very surprised if he makes it at Leeds

    Morning all...

On Baker Leeds fans are very unforgiving and frustrated or not, leaving the ground before the end shows zero commitment, I’m hoping he doesn’t play again as it would mean we’re quite desperate if he needs to take to the field.

Looking ahead to January, we will hopefully have Brown fit, bring back Cibicki if need be and send both Harrison and Baker back. Hernandez, Izzy, Phillips, Forshaw, Klich, Alioski, Clarke, Saiz, Cibicki do we really need another loan signing?

On the Keeper an interesting one, IF we win promotion BPF is not ready for the PL are we going to sign a loan keeper as backup to BPF or are we going to spend on someone capable of making it in the PL?

Strikers, I’m happy with Roofe, Bamford back will be a bonus but can he remain fit? I wonder if a Leyton Orient player is going to be ready for the jump up, I guess we just trust Bielsa on this one.

Morning all....about Baker, I agree with ristac, if contractually allowed, he should be sent straight back to chelski. This could then free up a loan spot for someone to come in who is actually interested in playing for us.
The sun newspaper, making mistakes, how often have we heard those words in the same sentence.

Morning all. I doubt we’ll bring back Cibicki. Wasn’t it the case that, with the possible exception of Grot, all the others loaned out was because they didn’t fit in to Bielsa’s ‘group’ that he thought could play his style of football?

We might find cash for loan deals but unless mr 49er the other night brought his chequebook we won’t be seeing any big signings. They’re running a tight ship. We have several first teamers who’s contracts are running down... all seemed to go quiet on Roofe contract. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp....o-kemar-roofe-concerned-about-leeds-contract/

You’d think Roofe, klich, and maybe bpf would be priority extensions ahead of January signings.

It helps tthe club that bielsa doesn’t like Jan signings as a rule because he thinks it takes players a while to fit into his system as he wants them to.

We’ve lost a keeper so we’ll get a replacement, my hope is any other cash we have goes on another winger who has the legs and ability to stretch teams and take players on.

Good Morning to Matt and co from a dull Bardsey
Baker will never be forgiven for leaving early so in his own interests he should be put on the first train to London .One thing about our fans is they don't forgive easily
I think the only loanee we will bring back into the fold is Grot
A teriific match last night saw 2 title contenders draw 5-5 with Tammy scoring 4 goals
This brings me onto the fact that after 19 games no team has achieved a 2pt average so its that close .I have 8 teams who could win the league WBA HAVE THE PLAYERS and should be a likely side to win the league Villa now they have a proper manager and with the large squad at his disponsal should be in the frame
Sheff U I think will fail again not I enough strength in depth Derby are inconsistent Boro play lacks ingenuity but have a large squad but I feel they will only be a top 6 team
This leaves Forest have a large squad nad seem to have a strong defence up to last night Norwich will start to struggle once they get injuries so that leaves us .We need to strengthen in Jan and be trouble free with injuries so a top 2 place is achievable but in this league who really knows

Cibicki will be back in Leeds this Xmas as his deal ends in a few weeks, as their league closes for a while. He has played 13 games as part of a 3 man frontal attack and scored 3 times with 3 assists. Soljskiar likes him, but does Bielsa?

LoL the same article you quote from also said Ekuban would be back as Bielsa sees him as a prospect. I can confirm that's a bunch of crap as his Turkish team are looking to get rid early if they can. He barely gets in the team and has scored 1 goal since he got there. Bielsa is astute and a striker who doesn't score, doesn't get off the bench and sometimes doesn't even make the match day squad isn't a striker our manager would want back.

One player who maybe we should have kept but Ekuban screwed his Leeds career is Marcus Antonnson who has gone back to Sweden and in 15 games has scored 8 goals and in 6 europa League games has scored 3 goals. So 21 games/11 goals and was always a much better prospect than barndoor Caleb

Of all our loanees, the one I'd have back in a heartbeat is Lewie Coyle. He offers more than Dallas as a RB or RWB, and would be genuine competition for Ayling.

I don't see Dallas having a future with us, and the best Berra can hope for is as a stand-in across the back 4.

Coyle plays well every week and always plays the full 90. He won players player of the year and fans player of the year, how often does that happen to a loan player. This season he is rampaging forward and defending well as usual. Yes he needs to come back and be given a chance, if not he needs to be cut looose because hes better than where hes playing.

The U23s have a brilliant RB but hes missed much of the season through injury, Bryce Hossanah who Inthink will be first team squad next season

Maybe they didn’t plan on first and second choice right backs getting crocked?

Is there a recall clause? My take on coyle in a Leeds shirt was he looked good going forward but question marks defensively. I know he’s done well at fleetwood, maybe he’s improved all round, maybe its the level. Guess that’s for the management to take a view on.
