I read an interesting article stating City have a selection of preferred overseas teams that they send their youngsters too. Perhaps it's worth stating again that with regards to financial fair play our accounts start afresh from the 1st July. Without being privy to our accounts it's impossible to say whether any transfer outlay would have resulted in us being slapped with a transfer embargo at a later date. What we do know is that any chance the EFL have to beat us down will be gleefully taken and punishments applied with relish by those in power. With that in mind we should start to see the new squad taking shape from next week onwards.
