    Good Morning Everyone

Liam Cooper is back in training, and whilst the trip to Villa is probably to soon, expect him to be on the bench at Elland Road on Boxing Day for the visit of Blackburn.

How important is it to get a result at Villa Park on Sunday lunchtime?

Let's not forget Villa have a few injuries including Grealish, though Bjarnason, Lansbury, Jedinak and Adomah will be available for selection.

Who would settle for a draw?

The team top of the Championship on Xmas Day has always won automatic promotion every year since 2008.

Malik Wilkes is due back at Elland Road on the 2nd January. The 20 yo has scored 6 times in 21 appearances and has won numerous MOTM awards.

With Bamford and Roofe being on form, surely there is little point him returning to the U23's

    Agree?

    What about Sam Dalby?

The rumour is he will go out on on a six month loan to a league 1 club early in January!

    Morning all...

Yes very much so to taking the draw against Villa, them and West Brom our largest threat for Autos I’d say. Both will probably spend in January too.

A few weeks back Bielsa said Ayling would be back in December, I wonder if that was wishful thinking or if he has had a setback or if he really will have a chance to feature soon?

Our returning youngsters; I’d like to see them all in the U23s Bielsa and his team need to take a closer look now and decide who is surplus and who might have a future.

Those returning also need to adapt to Bielsa style now, the clubs they’ve been loaned to probably all have their own style, tactics and methods. Let Bielsa and his coaches take a close look at them for two weeks and then we still have a couple of weeks of the window left to move on any who are not going to make the grade. Those who show promise keep them here and get them learning Bielsa style now.

    Morning Matt and all

The sooner Cooper is back the better, would have been great to have him back for the Villa game but hey ho, he's back sooner than we expected.

I have a horrible feeling about Sunday, I'd be very happy with a draw.

Wilks probably needs to stay with the u23's if the club thinks he has a future here, he needs to learn the system if he'll ever play a part in it, if not then loan out or even sell.

    Morning all :emoticon-0148-yes:

The Villa match is massive .... if we win its a big result if we draw..... its acceptable if we lose. We are on the best run of results since Grayson’s 2009 team.

Wilks has been doing ok for Donny and the manager would like to keep him. Many of his games he has played out wide so is really the stand in striker coming off the bench or starting if the main No9 is out. E works hard but think he now has no future at Leeds Utd because we have a bunch if strikers at Leeds who are more promising. Wilks, Coyle and Denton will be released I think.

Dalby is probably the next player to get into the main squad, so not sure he will be sent out on loan. If he is I hope Bielsa sends him to a progressive coach and insists on the role he plays.

Lots of people mentioning our head of medicine being able to raise Lazarus with having Bamford and Cooper back early and in fairness getting Brown back after a year out. Brown isnt far away now but lets see

    Forget the horrible feelings folks

As long as Jansson & Halme are our CB's with Phillips & Forshaw protecting our defence...........

Good Morning to Matt and co from a cloudy Bardsey
Who is next for the chop because Dec brings out the worst in owners I have a funny feeling that Pulis will be gone after Sathis signings have not come off.Hughill thank goodness we didn't get him has been dismal Fletcher is as bad as barn door Billy another one we nearly bought!
Saville as been on the b ench and Flint has lost his scoring boots plus the negative fare they give the fans it all as up to the sack for Pulis
Sheff Wed have been put up for sale by its owner and have breached the fair play rules and have an embargo put on them so expect a lot of players leaving.I like fire sales so Adam Reach maybe sold on the cheap along with Westwood elsewhere Fletcher is going back to Scotland whilst Foresteri will be made available not a good time for Owls fans what price on relegation I wonder!
Good to hear Cooper is on the mend and lets hope Ayling is too
Make no mistake a draw at Villa would be a great result
I hope the Doc is right about Brown I would love to see him play the poor lad must be worried sick as for Cooper he has what it takes and is love for the team is true a real example for everyone

Mike, Izzy Brown isn't far away but even that could be another month or so. He has played 4 times for the U23s and the last game (Before last) he played the full 90 minutes. In those games he has looked better on the wing but he has plenty of quality and stands out in a team of stand out kids. A strapped hamstring and then pulling up with same hamstring was a worry, but according to our head of medicine a good gamble and no damage done as it was just tight. Brown will be getting lots of aches and strains after being out for so long and his career could be finished if he is brought back too soon.

The big worry for us though and Bielsa is that his career as a top player could be over and he never gets fit enough. he could break down every other game we dont know yet, so I think we would be wise to bring in a top attacking midfielder/winger, unless Bielsa already has one in his toolbox at TA?

I for one wouldn't want Darlow he can't even get on the bench and whenever I have watched him he appears to be a calamity waiting to happen

Would love Gomez as he has played for Bielsa, likes Bielsa and Bielsa likes him. Gomez would hit the ground running, he has pace and is always on the attack. Reach is also a clever player but would need time to learn Bielsaball.

The Newcastle manager is in the same class as Jose’ and other world leading coaches including Bielsa. If he has gone out without a big cheque book and found a keeper who is better than Darlow, that should tell us something. I wouldnt pay £4m for a keeper unless I was sure he was Prem quality. Forster or Gunn yes, Darlow no, but if it is I will have to back the manager

Brown if he gets fit would be a steal at £2m as his value will have diminished after this bad injury

Brown is the answer IF we can get him playing! I would leave BPF as first choice and bring in a loan as back up and use the cash on an attacking midfielder. I think with Coops and Ayling back soon and with Beradi to return as well we are covered at the back

Should we be looking at Marcus Maddison to replace Saiz?

Davy just been reading an article about Maddison and what happened last season. He was promised a move if he got them promoted. It didnt happen but the bandit car salesman owner agreed he could go for the right money. Leeds, Villa, Derby, Blackburn and more were all in for him but Swiss Tony wanted more cash so it never happened. It seems Maddison sulked and was unfit and left out of the side but has played the last 20 and has already got 10 assists.

The question I have is temprement and what Del Boy will want for him

Doc, are you sure about Dalby? It seems to me that the ones from the U23s the club / Bielsa thinks are good enough progress to the 1st team without going out on loan. When we loan players out it appears their Leeds careers might be over?

I was wondering the same myself, out on loan and not in the U23s they don’t learn Bielsa style, they could end up at a club where the coach plays hoofball they’ll come back to us none the wiser
