Good Morning Everyone Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has confirmed that Leeds tried to sign Jack Marriott The Posh Chairman was speaking to a Leeds fan on social media and admitted that the Whites had made a 5m offer in January, and had followed up the offer by speaking to MacAnthony over the Summer. Leeds were ahead of the pack when they identified Marriott as a target in January. Unfortunately we did not do enough to get the deal over the line, and Derby beat us to his signature. Marriott has four goals in his last five games for the Rams, and he has struck against both Manchester United and Chelsea. Sky Sports have been using technology to drown Leeds fans attacking the broadcasting giant. During last Saturday’s fixture with Nottingham Forest at Elland Road, chants of ‘Sky TV is f****** s***’ were hushed by the broadcaster on more than one occasion — a process known as ‘dampening’. From September 28 to November 10, seven of the eight matches have been, or are scheduled to be, televised. Of Leeds’s 15 league matches so far this season, only four have kicked off at 3pm on a Saturday, often creating transport problems for supporters. Paudie O'Connor became the first player to both score and be sent off in a single League Cup match since Lewis Cook for Leeds United v Doncaster Rovers in August 2015 last night. The on loan starlet was appearing for Blackpool against Arsenal at the Emirates. O'Connor pulled a goal back to narrow down the scoreline to 2-1 before being sent off minutes before the final whistle.
Good Morning to Matt and co from a wet Bardsey Iwas very surprised when we let Paudie out on loan we could use him now for sure Am I right in thinking Moreno has got off his swearing ban? Marriott was offered 18k a week by Derby that why we missed out
Morning all O'Connor is struggling to get a game for a poor Blackpool team and only got in last night because they played a weakened team against Arsenal. Bit worried about some of our kids out on loan who dont seem to be making the most of their chances. Tyler Denton had a stormer on Saturday but was his first appearance. Lewie Coyle is still doing the biz and Liam Kitching was watched by Orta and Bielsa the other night. Wilkes is hit and miss but is also used out wide?. The rest ......
Perhaps he is missing the big crowds but he took his goal well and I was very impressed with him last season
He also hit the bar with a header, took his goal very well, and gets stuck in, he's a good prospect, I'd recall him from his loan spell
Oh dear...oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. Nearly 6pm and only 11 posts on the Breakfast Debate of which 3 just say good morning or good afternoon. What was once the finest forum on the planet ruined by meddling kids.
Glory’s busy trolling Tracey Crouch right now on twitter he had a go at Arron Banks earlier, seems hes a lefty momentum knobber without any momentum
