Morning all Don't worry about the bonuses as that's standard practice when you try and sign better players. Its an incentive for them to perform. £6.3m of that will go out to clubs as 'add-on' payments, again standard practice like we got £8m add-on payment for Fabian Delph......... Sorry Bates got £8m. You negotiate as low a price as possible and hope to pay the add-on money because the gamble paid off. Sad day for the club as Bill Fotherby was the last decent man to run the club. We were down in the dumps struggling with players like Ray Hankin and Bill decided to go get the best and he brought in Wilko. Remember Bill was at the helm when Wilko and Paul Hart built the academy and player production line.
