Good Morning Everyone Should Leeds finish in the play offs, which teams would you like to avoid, and why? Former Leeds legend Gary McAllister was attacked on Saturday night in Leeds city centre waiting for a taxi. It is claimed that McAllister fell to the floor after being punched in the face and that his wife fought to pull the attacker off him, suffering a wrist injury in the process. The Sun report that local police took McAllister to Leeds General Infirmary — where he needed at least 10 stitches in his top lip — after the attacker fled the scene. Selling McAllister to Liverpool was a bigger mistake (imo) than any bad signing Lee Sharpe, Tomas Brolin and Seth Johnson combined. It was Macca's goals for the Reds (most of them in the last 5 minutes of their matches) that gave the Merseysiders the slim advantage that kept Leeds out of the Champions League that season! The difference between third and fourth has a colossal financial impact on the Whites!!! If you could have one player from any other Championship club, who would it be, and why?
Good morning Matt & all Avoid all of them, I really don't want the play-offs There was a stat floating around that the team at the top of the table at Christmas time generally are promoted, would be typical Leeds to break that stat. Had we shown a little more ambition we wouldn't be chasing the canaries & the blunts, we'd be dominating the championship. Casilla was a great signing however that was not enough, we needed pace/game changer, now it's squeaky bum time as we try to get over the line. As for the Gary MCallister cowardly attack, all down to the sick aggressive world we live in James would have been ideal, he'd have given us pace & a end product, something our cheap loan signing Harrison struggles to offer. A prolific goalscorer like Pukki if he fitted into our system. We'd be more or less up by now

I would have to go through who the best attacking midfielders are as Harrison is our weakest position but I believe that could be cured as Douglas at LB with Alioski playing in front is a better option in my opinion. I had a look at the players stats for the championship over at https://www.whoscored.com/Regions/2...ayerStatistics/England-Championship-2018-2019 we have three in the top 10 Sheffield United just the one in the top 20 Oliver Norwood. So if I could take any one player today for the remainder of the season it would be Norwood. Any player we picked might not get in the starting 11, we’ve seen how Bielsa is in regards to Brown so hoping someone would come up to what Bielsa is looking for is pretty slim so taking Norwood would at least disrupt the team we’re battling with for an auto. Like Bucks I hope McAllister is okay
One stat is going to be broken this year, no team has averaged 2.6 points a game between 1st December and 1st January and not been promoted, Hull City won 6 and drew 1 giving them this average and they’re looking very unlikely now. I still believe Sheffield United are going to have a run of no wins in 3 or 4 so as long as we don’t it will be fine

Morning All, Low life scum attacking Macca. I hope he will be fine and fit to celebrate our promotion. Who would I like from the championship,? well at the moment nobody as we have the best squad in the league. Mateusz Bogusz would, I think, be a good impact player to have available on the bench, and I really have got fed up of hoping Izzy will do some good for us but I am ever hopeful. Jack is looking good in training as well so all is good for me. I have to disagree about Douglas Ristac. I think Alioski is better in this team at LB than Douglas. I had hoped for good things from Douglas but with hindsight there must have been a reason he wasn't wanted at Wolves?
Good morning all This international break seems to be taking forever Totally agree with 1964White about James & pukki,looks like we for once might have made a blunder over James ,and as for Pukki that was unfortunately for us, just down to a brilliant piece of scouting from the Norwich scouts,how the fook they found him i don't know. As for the playoffs we won't need them as Bielsa will drag this team by the bootlaces if need be to the finish line,also sheffield are riding their luck at the moment and are soon to become unseated. Err we sold McAllister to Coventry . Liverpool then signed him 4 years later from Coventry on a free transfer
Morning all The Macca attack in Leeds says a lot about some Leeds people I'm afraid. Gary is a legend and he and his wife treated like lepers is a joke. Hope they find him and lock him up. I think Dan James is somebody who would have thrived under Bielsa, but not sure it'll ever happen now for a number of reasons. His price will have gone up and, If we are still in this league the chances are we will be poorer and without Bielsa and if we go up we need better, because irrespective of what some fans are saying he isn't Messi. Victor Orta was in Barcelona all last week at a conference of 150 football clubs, lets see what he has up his sleeve......
Need some advice/help regarding my ipad. I cannot get onto the live page of this site any more for some reason. I am given last Wednesday's page so cant do anything. PC is fine but when I try it on my pad I get the same page from last Wednesday which is doing my head in because it has never happened before, any ideas? thanks
There has been a reported issue with pages not updating but the last I read it had been sorted, but perhaps this is the same issue recuring.
Agree Harrison is a weak link but Douglas has been a major disappointment imo Richard Alioski has had his best games for Leeds in the wing-back position
Morning Doc, suggest you do the following. Go to settings-safari-clear history. Then turn iPad off. Hold button down until slider off button shows on screen, slid to off, leave for 10 seconds and turn back on, iPad reboots. When re-booted as a check double click button on the right side face of iPad. This will show any pages in the background, there should not be any. Good luck. P.S. I don't really know what I am talking about but this is what I do if I have a similar problem.

Morning all. The Macca attack reminds me of a horrific attack on new york tube last week where some bastard kicked the head of an old pensioner lady. He was caught over the weekend and shown being bundled into a cop car. Ill bet hell get the justice he deserves over there. UK or here it would be a slap on the wrist. If the lad that attacked Grealish got 12 weeks, Maccas attacker should get five years minimum in my opinion. Buzzing for Saturday
