    Good Morning Everyone

Now we have had time to lick our wounds, its time to disect Saturdays performance!

It's fair to say that the team performance was the worst Leeds fans have had to endure this season, and although it's unfair to blame individuals, fingers are being pointed at young Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

Is Blackman any better? Does he deserve a chance, and if so what will that do to the confidence of the Northern Ireland keeper?

Whilst we are talking about our loanees; Blackman, Baker and Harrison accumulate over £100,000 a week in wages - I really hope that is not coming out of the Elland Road coffers!!!

I'm not one to point fingers, but what a disappointment the three of them are, especially when (yet again) we see our competitors with better quality.

Do our loanees add strength in depth?

Yet again at the weekend we dominated possession. In fact we almost had 4/5 of the ball, yet our opponents had 20 shots.

    Have we been found out?

Do we need a plan B?

Was it a bad day at the office, or are the wheels coming off?

    Good morning Matt & everyone

We were playing against a team where the majority of their players had played in the premiership, a team that had pace we struggled to contain or cope with, where as we haven't got one player with any premiership experience

Promotions aren't won or lost in one match this is a very tight division and I expect a lot of ups and downs before May.

Good morning all (Grrrr still reeling from saturday)
I hope the same pattern isn't emerging, all be it on a slower basis as last season. The fast precise free flowing football we saw earlier in the season seems to have all but gone, and we are now struggling to break down teams.
Seems to be no bite particularly from players like Harrison,& even more so from Dallas who realy struggles to deliver a accurate cross,Douglas has also disappointed me and as for Alioski well words sometimes fail me,so that's just half of our team i have mentioned that are miss firing, and even under a world class top coach Bielsa were not gonna get promoted with just a half descent team.So whats gone wrong again? I think one thing we all know is we need a top keeper, they help breath confidence in the defence (always build from the back up) get a spine in the team build from their.just my opinion mind you.

Morning all. We met WBA when they played better than they have done for weeks with our worst performance since Marcelo arrived. I hope our next game will show this to be a blip.

Good Morning to Matt and co from a sunny Bardsey
I think the defence and midfield was just asa bad as BPF they let them rip through us
We all know we need a CB a goalkeeper Heaton and a winger but will RAd fund it he makes noises but that's it
They looked much stronger than us infact it was men against boys
I agree with Matt our loanees are uselessDerbyWBA and Villa get much better players

    Morning all :emoticon-0148-yes:

The problem with being a fan of this club is that every time we lose people start cutting their wrists and jumping in front of cars. Stop it FFS and look at the reality.
    1. We were playing a Prem team with prem players and a lot of them are earning £40,000 per week. There are players in that team who would sell for well over £10m each and they also get £20m this season in parachute payments.
    2. We are using the same team as last season with the only difference being Bielsa and we are extremely unlucky having 4 first teamers out with long term injuries.
    3. Bielsa will be hurting after that and has taken the blame, but its the toughest league in the world and we are only 17 matches into a 42 match season.
being having a discussion earlier with Eire on twitter and he says we are too light in numbers. I agree but he wants 3 players per position but that means at least a third never getting a game yet demanding wages. We need a keeper and Tom Heaton (As 60 says) is available, a defender and a striker. If we had the long term injuries available we wouldn't have a problem and having all 4 back in January will be great but need a couple more.

The BPF debate rumbles on and I think he isnt ready yet and give Blackman a chance. Arguing that the loan players are crap isn't making sense. Blackman hasn't started a league game so how is he a waste of money? Baker and Harrison need to be used especially now. Harrison looked great at times but admit his form has dropped but its a long season and Bielsa tends to stick with his first choices, which was shown to be wrong on Saturday

    Morning all....

Likle the rest of us, I am hoping for a positive response from the players next time out.

Something wasn't right on Saturday, it wasn't all down to any one single player although some played worse than others.

Hopefully Bielsa will correct this with either a quiet word in their ear or a change or two.

How things can change, a week ago I was worried signing anyone in the January transfer window might unbalance and unsettle the team, now I can't wait for a new signing or two.

There’s a saying in boxing that styles makes fights and it’s true in football too. Jake Livermore said before the game that we would come to play and it would suit them. We did and it did. They are very well set to play on the break and our style is vulnerable to that. Apparently we had a plan for it, but it didn’t work... not helped by some bad days at the office. We’ve been very good this season at finding space and giving midfielders options to pass to. When they get caught in possession and give the ball away (like we used to do every week) it often means that their options are limited.

They did a job on us, but as so often in football it turns on a moment of brilliance, a mistake or a refereeing decision.

This West Brom are brilliant stuff? They are behind us in the league for a reason. All the better sides in this league have strengths and weaknesses. They used their strengths and exposed our weaknesses. Like we did to Norwich and derby and derby did to them.

Bielsa might be shielding his players, though he prides himself on his honesty, but he knew what the challenges were and wasn’t able to get his side to deal with them. Set up or implementation? Probably a bit of both.

It’s a forum so we can all share opinions. But this ‘bielsa is a genius’stuff’, followed a week later by ‘the end is nigh’ ‘square pegs in round holes’ ‘crazy substitutions’. Either accept that he watches these players daily, has been doing his job for years and is good at it, or don’t. But seesawing on every result. Or thinking bielsa is a god but slagging him off about a particular player choice... it’s kind of contradictory.

Hey we all think we know best.

On goalkeeper. Be realistic about Possible January signings. It will need to be a keeper who is very comfortable with the ball at his feet. We can hark back to rob green but bielsa wouldn’t play him if he was here.

I think there has been some indecision between keeper and centre halves but they’ve spent 4 months pinging it around between themselves, without it leading to disaster and with it contributing to plenty of our good play. Bielsa has to think how quickly/easily that can be replicated and weigh it up against any lack of confidence in bpf.

my view is if, and it’s an if, he’s lost confidence in bpf he needs to get Blackman in for a run before January before taking a view on a January signing.

Morning all...I think/hope it was just a bad day at the office on Saturday & hopefully we won't have many more like that.
I agree with milky regarding bpf, I think it's time to give Blackman a run in the team to judge whether he can do the job or do we need to jump into the market for a keeper in January.

The ammount of slagging certain players are getting and even Bielsa makes some of our fans a joke at times. Not talking about on here although reading through Ells breakfast points you would think we are dropping down. Bielsa has been called an idiot, BPF and Dallas told to leave .......

Not one player stood out on Saturday and I felt it was going to be bad when I had watched Pablo miss-hit 3 balls in the first 15 minutes and not get past one player. He wasnt in the game, he went missing and never got going. Dallas was very bad and so too was BPF and Cooper and even Klich so the backbone and creativity was missing. Everything went wrong and everything now needs putting right and I have no doubt it gets done this week and next.

Bielsa said that the players who have not had playing time will be getting match fit this International break. That means games against the U23s where we should see players fighting for a place in the team next time out.

I like the style of the lad in the middle, he's not taking a chance of his beer being nicked while he's looking at the camera.
