Good Morning. It's Wednesday 4th November, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road. How will Bielsa's midfield line up against Palace? Bielsa has taken responsibility for getting his tactics wrong against Leicester City on Monday Evening. “I didn’t distribute the players correctly on the field,” said the Argentine. “It was difficult for us to win the ball back and this caused us to defend poorly.” The difficulty is Kalvin Phillips is so difficult to replace. We've seen Struik, Shackleton and Klich give their all in the defensive midfield position, but without avail, so what is the answer. What about Ayling. He is versatile, and he has one hell of an engine on him. For the same reason, what about Alioski? Was Bielsa correct in substituting Hernandez off during the Foxes game? Apart from his sublime effort clipping the crossbar and post, what else did he do? Do you think he has slowed down from last season? What about Shackleton, is he at the right level to start for Leeds? Do the wingers work hard enough? It seems likely that Leeds will plash out 10m for Harrison next Summer. Bargain or not? please log in to view this image Bielsa's pre match press conference Both Diego Llorente and Kalvin Phillips are still out injured for Saturday’s game but should be back for Arsenal after the international break. Raphinha could play on Saurday. He has overcome his injury, and Bielsa will make an assessment on the Brazilians fitness this morning. Bielsas reply when asked whether Bamford should get an England call up! Bielsa replacements Oddschecker have compiled a list of suitable candidates that they believe would be suitable for the Elland Road hot seat IF Bielsa were to leave next Summer.
Morning all, Was Bielsa correct in substituting Hernandez off during the Foxes game? Apart from his sublime effort clipping the crossbar and post, what else did he do? Yes, deservedly substituted, had a poor game, and only just come back from injury anyway. Do you think he has slowed down from last season? No. What about Shackleton, is he at the right level to start for Leeds? He's at the right level to be in the squad. Do the wingers work hard enough? Absolutely. It seems likely that Leeds will plash out 10m for Harrison next Summer. Bargain or not? Absolute bargain, quality player and fits Bielsaball perfectly.
Hernandez deserved to be subbed as he was shockingly off the pace and besides one sublime bit of skill was poor. We need to remember that since the lockdown in March Pablo has only played 90mins once and that was in a dead rubber against Derby. We need him to get properly fit and give us something off the bench now so we dont have to suffer Roberts. Shaks moved into Klich’s No8 role worked against Villa because they wanted to go toe to toe but it failed against Leicester because they sat back and waited for us to make mistakes and thats what Palace will do so Klich should go back to doing what he does best and Struijk should play at DM and keep an eye on Zaha Shaks will be a top player but think Bielsa now knows when he can put him in and which teams he cant until he learns how to rip into a defensive midfield As far as Bielsa replacements go that list is a joke. The only people who are in line to replace him are managers he has selected to be on the list. So look at Ellands list and you will find nobody capable of keeping his academy set up, his coaching ethos and the way he makes all the academy teams play the same way as the first team.loads of those on the above list refuse to have anything to do with the academy and just leave it to someone else. Morinho a class case in point. Man Utd were built on their academy but Jose’ refused to have anything to do with them and would get a weekly report about them and thats it. The bloke who takes over doesnt have to be a Bielsa clone and as an example I give you Diego Simeoni who is a Bielsa fan but does Bielsaball in reverse. He builds his team around a defence whereas Bielsa goes on the attack. Simeoni does low press instead of high but he gets fantastic results and again his players love him. When he attacks its in numbers ....
Oddschecker have compiled a list of suitable candidates that they believe would be suitable for the Elland Road hot seat IF Bielsa were to leave next Summer. That list oddschecker obviously don't have a clue. Oh yes let's get McDonut back to replace Bielsa I'd like to see the odds that none of them on the list will be Leeds United's next manager - easy money
If that means the Leeds games will be available through LUTV and the money goes directly to the club then I’m all for it.
Totally agree Essex. Now I don't know if it's been confirmed, but it was on FB on a site called SPYS ARE US...
The broadcasters are refusing to let clubs do that, as it will be the thin edge of the wedge in their view. It will show clubs are capable of doing their own broadcast deals and on top of that they dont want the Premier League to do what the NBA and F1 did and have Premier League Football as a real brand who own broadcast rights. F1 own all tv rights and broadcasters have to pay to use pictures from the F1 feed. F1 have their own cameras and crews and satelttes and Sky for example have to but a feed to each race and why 10 minutes before race time the F1 logo and sound takes over as F1 is now in charge
If it's true, hopefully. I've Sky sports and then got BT for 3 months and then the ****ers put the games on PPV.
Report I saw Shaks was pay for view was scrapped for duration of uk lockdown and they will revisit idea in January
Unfortunately can’t watch today as a busy bee. I read Gelhardt was having a blinder so he obviously won’t be in squad tomorrow still. Obviously not as good as Robert’s still
